Leave ranked alone, create a "hardcore" mode that turns off all the meters for both players. fighter use is limited to one use per 24hrs. No top tier selection spamming.

There's no way to know if that's true or not. You'd have to gather every single person on the planet and ask them what they think. A big task indeed!

Not having your own meters isn't sim. You know how tired you are in real life.. lol

Anyway, his post was an obvious mockery of what the people who are against seeing their opponents bars want. That's why I said what I said.

It's already a stamina battle way more than it is a health one, so stamina should definitely be taking a seat back.


One thing I should say though, is that GPD and I had a very small talk about the meter bars and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind me posting it so here goes:

My question:

Is there any hope for the meter bars to be hidden from your opponent this time around? Is it in discussion or has the decision already been made?

I'd really appreciate a answer even if it is not the one that I'm hoping for.

Or simply telling me what in your opinion you'd think would be best for the game. Having the option in quick matches? Or having it for every fight in ranked. Or having none of it.

Thanks. I appreciate the answer. If someday you come across the dev in question, would it be possible to get a word or two about it? Im not too sure of much of a hassle it would be to add it as a option for quick match for exemple, but it would certainly be better than no change at all. And what better way to have feedback from it than of its implemented?

He still has not answered my second question, but most of the time, silence goes a long way for what it means. I wish the option for it would be taken more seriously tbh.

49 to 9! 49 of us want the meters gone and 9 want them. 5 don't care. Please give us no meters for ranked. Who is the developer in charge of this? Brian Hayes please give this to us ! Please!

I'm convinced a lot of those 49 don't know what they are signing up for, lol. 49 is also a tiny, tiny percentage of player base.

I used to be against meters as anyone. I think it looks silly as heck with all those little meters, but with the current state of breaking block....
