Barboza has a nasty switch kick that people thought was useless because it doesn't combo. But in reality it's a super fast kick stationary or moving and has a different wind up than others so it throws people off.

I haven't found anyone else with it if anyone wants to let me know about others.

Body kicks are best used sparingly and after you have landed punches to the head for a good minute to get them thinking about that instead of the body. The moving right straight into a stationary lead body kick is nice and fast and often gets orthodox fighters in the liver.

It's also counterintuitive, but body kicks are effective up close when you've got your opponent shelling up. Say you land a duck upper and don't rock them; you can then do a 1-body kick up close while they're trying to recover head health. Just gotta be tricky with it.

Division 5. You can't ever land a head kick? I have success with one of the r1 kicks, I forget which of the top of my head. Not great success, but I like throwing it occasion

I don't know. Seems every time I try I'm caught in the load up by 3 hooks and the fight is over.

RDA has a switch kick too, because I asked for it. Other than that I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head, although I agree it's very good.

And I think the reason people thought/think it was useless was because in the beta, everyone could throw uncatchable lightning body kicks by comboing behind a jab while Barboza could throw a similar speed or slightly slower switch kick that could be caught, causing a lot of people to write it off and probably not revisit it in the full game.

I don't know exactly when it was changed, but back dash isn't as good.

Part of it is that people hadnt mastered swaying/ducking yet
