Silva was just straight up too big for Fedor. All the huge guys Fedor fought before were cans like Choi. Silva was up 20-17 in that fight anyway.

I wonder how pissed Coker is right now. Also awaiting Dana White's tweet.

        give someone a break.

this is why I've said there should be more weightclasses for mma when it comes to heavy.

it's just too much to ask in the modern climate of mma.

I've never been a fedor fan or appologist, but the size diff is just too much i said in the past that brock would be too much...it's just true to a certain extent. He would still beat almost anyone and even in a rematch this one..it's too much to ask of a man his size.

Two losses in a row and with their tourney lasting most of this year, who the hell is there for him to fight in SF now.

Fedor's great and all, but all the big guys he's fought before weren't anything close to silva. I laughed when they mentioned hong man choi as experience against big men.

hate to see him retire, but he seems to be that kind of guy now.

Sounds like it was good that it didn't eventually going to the judges. Somehow 2 judges gave round 1 to Fedor and only one judge had a 10-8 2nd round.

Also the guy that nearly got knocked out by Mike Kyle just had a 10-8 round against Fedor. I really don't understand MMA sometimes.

So Fedor may be done now? If he decides to stay the only fight really left for him is Overeem and I don't think that's a huge fight now after Fedor lost 2 in a row.

Wow they are reaching for any and everything. Let the man make it official before it becomes history.

I still would take Fedor against Brock. Fedor tagged Silva a good amount in that first round but Silva's Easter Island head wasn't affected by it. Had Brock been hit with those there's a good chance he turtles up. Of course if Brock can land a takedown before then its a different story.

**** dana white and his childish crap. If anything, M1's hold over Fedor is one of the tragedies of sports. Such a great champ ruined by leeches.

Maybe I wasn't watching round 1 close enough cause I thought Silva outstruck Fedor plus he got the takedown near the end of the round. I thought Silva was up 20-17.

I would not be surprised if fedor beat anyone, I'm simply saying it's just too much to ask for someone his size in this day and age.

After seeing that fight, I dont think there is a question that lesnar would have smashed him, he cant deal with a big grappler. yes he beat bigger freakshow guys, but a 265lb grappler was gonna damn near kill fedor. silva just proved that.

This is so stupid with this tournament as they should have had all 4 fights tonight or at the most, have had the other 2 on 3/5 instead of waiting so long till April.

Frank Shamrock has to go, he just plain sucks and if he just doesn't want to answer something he changes the subject.

As sad as it is to see Fedor lose and possibly retire, better to go off on a high note than become a total joke like some guys that keep fighting around racking up loss after loss.
