No problem. Triple H just loves the business, you can really tell that. I think part of him misses the old days of veterans riding together or bringing along new talent to show them the ropes. Part of the reason he formed Evolution was to be able to travel with the younger guys (even though Batista is the same age, he was young in terms of the business knowledge) and help them learn how to be successful in the business.

The Performance Center was a brilliant idea and NXT is arguably the best show WWE has going today. He's making the right moves to move the business forward.

After watching the Goldberg MNW episode, I realized that I forgot how vicious his spear looked. Roman Reigns needs to watch that episode if he is going to keep using the spear as a finisher

I haven't watched the MNW episode of Goldberg but did just read the Death of WCW book (which is excellent) and has just been rereleased.

A new part that was updated was about Goldberg absolutely sand bagging Booker T. Years of hanging and banging with Nash had turned him into quite the politican and with Booker being one of the last few fresh faces in 2000 WCW Goldberg did his best to destory him and any momentum he might have had.

Oh well, payback was when Vince threw money into a barrel and lit it on fire by putting a wig on Goldberg.

Edit: Just watched it. I almost spit out my drink when Sid was saying how Goldberg didn't really get the business. Amazing.

I really enjoy the WCW segments because they are actually honest. The WWE ones are so "Vince is the greatest and conquered the wrestling world."

Booker T: Goldberg said he would only lose to God.

That's up there with the glass shattering, the Bell and "IF YOU SMELLLLLLLL" for best entrances.

To me there isn't a better entrance then Goldberg. Better music sure, but factor in everything and it's damn near perfection. It just creates this cool and collected badass vibe

Similar to Brock Lesnar now the minute you saw him heading out you were like "Damn someone is about to get demolished"

Was also surprised to hear that many people didn't like the decision to have Goldberg beat Hogan for the WCW Title on TV instead of PPV. I mean from a business perspective I get why($$$)and they probably could've built up the feud for a little bit longer instead of announcing it 3 days in advance but I remember thinking at the time, that would boost WCW forward and ahead of WWF.

Had no idea Hogan/Nash were hating on Goldberg after he won the title haha. Also, Fingerpoke of Doom is still one of the most hilarious moments in Wrestling History. Hearing Heyman's reaction to it was great.

Got around to watching the MNW episode and man they just blew it with Goldberg at the end. That should have been a streak that would have gotten to the point of being as revered as Taker and eventually put over someone else into a mega star.

Found it interesting that a lot of people like Hart blamed management for not explaining the business and stuff with Goldberg. Figured some of then would be hard against him.

The way Triple H is outside of the ring is a big, big reason why he's my favorite wrestler of all-time.

Guy just knows what he's doing, and pretty much always has.

Even more proof just how bad WWE was pre-attitude era. So many guys with such terrible gimmicks. Sure, Mideon before and after ministry wasn't good, but that's exactly why stables in attitude era were so good, cause even if many had people who weren't good before or after the stable, when in the group itself, it made everyone look good. Double J,Rockabilly,Phineas,Brian Christopher,Scott Taylor,Sultan,Flapjack Bradshaw and others all existed mid-late 97, all transformed into much better gimmicks.

Makes you wonder what WWE roster today could be like if superstars were given such drastic changes/creative actually booked people properly.

Judging by how terrible Cody Rhodes going from normal dude to Goldust 2 has been, I'm guessing drastic changes might not always be the way to go.

I actually like Cody Rhodes as Stardust. Cody Rhodes has higher potential, but Stardust is more entertaining(at least more entertaining than WWETV Cody Rhodes, JBL/Cole show Cody Rhodes was way better)

Personally I think Dashing Cody Rhodes is Cody's best character.

I love Stardust. Hell, I love pretty much everything Cody Rhodes has done in the last few years especially because I thought he definitely was the weak link in The Legacy. Dude has gone above and beyond to impress. And he finally started wearing knee pads, so that helped.

The period of time where Rhodes was coming down to a slowed, dark version of his "smoke and mirrors" song was his best I think.

I gotta ask....how old are you?

The way you look at Pre Attitude Era, I've got to assume you never watched it before 98. A lot of good happened prior to AE.
