Makes sense. Even with the issues with Punk - which seem like they still aren't resolved - they always seemed like AEW lifers to me.

And that company would need to be renamed or re-branded if all the original members of the Elite defected to WWE. They'll definitely outlast Punk there whether things are eventually worked out or not.

Would have said a lot about TK and the company in general if the remaining EVPs would have walked. Knowing the Forbidden Door with WWE won't never open, it does suck in a way because it feels like most dream matches for guys like Kenny and The Bucks are signed to WWE and really feels like the only thing left for them to do in their careers. Then again, they won't have the freedom to do New Japan and other shows they want to do if they signed to WWE.

Crazy how many records WWE is breaking from a PLE, Live Events, Merchandise, etc perspective. The momentum WWE picked up when Triple H took over, yet Kenny and The Bucks said, nah no thanks we don't want to be apart of that. I bet Cody was trying to talk to them into it, or WWE asked Cody to talk to them about coming over.

I guess in a post show promo, he kinda implied he had signed, or was planning on sticking around, as well. But they could also just be him now being a Babyface.

I'm 50/50 on it. There has to be a part of him that wants to do the whole WM stadium thing, and be featured on that bigger stage in general. He seems like a guy that Triple H would push to the moon.

But... it is still WWE. MJF's rise on the indies and most of his run in AEW has been in a time where WWE has been seen as being a pretty damn weak product. And he won't be free to do what he does in AEW. Maybe he doesn't buy into the hype. But Cody is there, and they can pay him anything... idk what to think.

Even if he is staying, they need to make it a storyline.

But because AEW tells dirtsheets everything, nobody can keep this a secret and everyone will know its part of the show.

It's almost as if CM Punk is a cancer or something. AEW had Hangman Adam Page show up to Collision in Greensboro, NC to film something for Dynamite. Then when he arrived, he was told he was going to film elsewhere and they didn't want him backstage at Collision. Other wrestlers such as Christopher Daniels, Matt Hardy, Ryan Nemeth and others have also been sent home from Collision, all wrestlers who Punk has issues with.

Apparently after Collision went off the air last Saturday, Punk randomly shooted on Hangman again.

"Hello, North Carolina. What is this? Huh? What is this? Look at this: "Carolina is Hangman Country." Earlier today, I went to a local supermarket and I figured out why they call him Hangman is because the pegs in the toy aisle are full of Hangman action figures. 'cause nobody wants to buy 'em. "He's a peg warmer, unlike me, who moves merchandise and pops ratings and sells toys."

Afterward, Punk took shots at the rest of the AEW roster who claim to be integral to the company. Furthermore, the "Second City Saint" is confident that he can put all of them to sleep.


"We got everybody in AEW saying, 'I'm the heart, I am the soul. I am the spirit.' Well, that's objective. What is a fact is the people who say that certainly aren't the chin of AEW because the lights go out faster than what? GTS, go to sleep."

Daniel Wheeler, a tag-team champion in All Elite Wrestling, was arrested Friday morning by the Orlando Police Department and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. He was booked in Circuit Court, according to county records.

Wheeler, 36, better known in wrestling circles as Cash Wheeler, is a member of the tag team FTR with Dax Harwood. They hold the AEW tag-team championship.

AEW issued a statement to the Sentinel, which reads: “AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. (Wheeler) is fully cooperating with local authorities.”

AEW is generally considered the No. 2 wrestling promotion in the U.S. behind WWE; Wheeler is scheduled to wrestle Aug. 27 in London on a show expected to draw 80,000 fans.

Few different things.

Displaying gun.
Waving gun around.
Flashing gun.

Not necessarily threatening someone with it, but definitely implying "don't **** with me".

He didn't have to surrender his passport, he'll be going to Wembly I'm sure and lose.


Edit: Can also be more severe! There are stages to it, and his is a 3rd degree felony.

At least he's in Florida. Hell, there was a road rage incident where shots WERE fired in Miami and the charges got dropped.

I absolutely love how Eddie Kingston just doesn't care about selling the video game. Omega and Tony promote the new Stadium Stampede Mode, then Tony brings in Kingston and he just goes, "buy the game, it's a good game or don't, I don't care." Then he just promotes All In and how he's going to beat Claudio... amazing.
