Punk is a clown. I used to be a huge fan of his. But he's a giant baby and always the victim. His antics in AEW were absurd. Certainly there are other parties who could have acted more professionally to, but Punk is always the common denominator wherever he goes. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

At this point who was he even going to wrestle to draw money? His friends list had dwindled down. So his value was not worth it, especially after the Wembley show did so well without him being anywhere near top of the card.

Right, the money was in his return. After that, who really cares?

Who could have predicted the fact that CM Punk would always be the victim? The guy is the ****ing paragon of 21st Century Society.

Hope we never hear from him ever again.

All Out is going to be such a weird show. It was already an oddity following up their biggest show ever so quickly, and with so many singles matches that I don't particularly care about, but now it's an even stranger timeline. Their two top belts won't be defend, and there are two ROH championship matches. Idk.

Hey, at least Punk gets to leave AEW as the 'real' world champion.

Does Punk have the balls to show up on WWE TV with the AEW title belt and chuck it in the trash?! [emoji1][emoji848]

The unprovoked attack of Colt Cabana during last year's media scrum really rubbed me the wrong way and made it difficult at best to be in his corner from a fan perspective.

I just find it funny that Tony Khan thought his life was in danger. Brah, no it wasn't. CM Punk wasnt out to get you. You happened to be at the one brawl this time and acted like you were gonna die. Talk about an overreaction to the firing. Just come out and say his actions didnt represent the company and you had to can him.

I doubt Tony's ever been in a real fight. He's a rich, awkward dude that probably hasn't been around people that 'angry' before.

I've been fired for blowing up and 'frightening' my superior, so I empathize with the situation.

On the flipside, you don't know what someone will do in any sort of confrontation.

Not that Tony had a reason for thinking Punk would go all Tommy Dreamer on Paul Heyman, but if you're confronted by someone apparently that angry, you never know if they'll try to just shove you, knock you out, who knows.

Right. It's possible he both wasn't in any actual danger (we've all seen Punk try to fight) and felt like he was because maybe he'd never been in a physical situation like this before.

Punk couldn't hack it in a legit UFC fight, but I'm pretty sure he could handle a random dude with his training in BJJ.

Definitely - I was just taking a shot at him.

Unless there's a lawsuit and any video comes out, we're never really going to know how much danger Tony was or wasn't in.

                                Punk sucks. Tony sucks.

                                They’re perfect for each other.
