        That's what's gonna hurt AEW.

Stop trying to be "we're not WWE, they suck!"

        Just be AEW.

You're entire existence is basically turning into an anti-WWE thing and that's just stupid. Your AEW exclusive fans will only eat up the cheap pop for making fun of WWE for so long, and the AEW fans who also like WWE will get tired of that real fast.

One could argue that your second point has happened already. The AEW audience is shrinking and shrinking, but this idiot (and the Elite) are too preoccupied with 'sticking it' to WWE (and by proxy CM Punk).

They've always made being 'anti-WWE' and taking needless potshots apart of their existence, but it doesn't seem to be conducive to having long-term success.

No doubt there's fans who liked both that just stuck with one.

I said it before, doesn't help AEWs case when their existence is "we're not WWE/Vince." and now WWE doesn't have Vince and is better than it's been in ages.

            We're way past the
AEW: I hate you more than anyone will ever know.
WWE: I don't even think about you at all

Vince completely divested from the company today and sold his remaining shares, yet Khan is still using 'at least I'm not Vince' as some sort of selling point.

Vince is and was a piece of **** - we get it - but what is AEW doing to actually bring in new fans? Other than constantly relying on supposed 'game changers,' 'big announcements,' and 'dream matches' with no build and minimal payoff.

Imagine if they had held off Danielson/Ospreay and done it at the end of the year. Making it a 'title vs. career' match instead of doing it too early (to satiate the Dave Meltzer's/IWC).

I don't try really care what Tony Khan says about WWE. I'm never gonna go back to being a regular WWE viewer again, so I'm not put off by it at all.

But then again I've fallen off AEW because to me their overall live TV formula doesn't seem much different than WWE. They've become very slick and professional and samey in a lot of ways. They've taken so much from WWE (actual talent included), that I'm not sure what he thinks he's rebelling against. It's not like they are coming up with these new and amazing ways to build and progress feuds. Plus, now we even get cringe scripted promos too.

Hopefully this Elite storyline goes somewhere interesting.

At first glance, you think this is just a normal day for Darby Allin Kayfabe wise, then you realize this was for real. Darby Allin was hit by a bus while trying to cross the street in NYC. By the way, he did all this with a broken freaking foot! Oh and then he went to a Broadway show afterwards.

Darby Allin was able to enjoy a Broadway show with artist Raymond Pettibon, but only after the AEW pillar was hit by a bus in New York City first.

AEW can't catch a break with injuries. Wheeler Yuta has been out with a concussion with no timetable to return.

Chuck Taylor may have to retire from wrestling due to the nature of his ankle fracture and the presence of necrosis of the bone underneath his cartilage.

It definitely goes back to the style of wrestling AEW has.

When you do the stuff they do, you're more likely to be injured than the "safer" style we see some do in WWE.

And in an ironic twist, competing less often gives you a bigger risk to be injured than if you compete 3-4 times a week since your body builds up to all the bumps and moves.

Did he shatter his ankle during that bloody Street Fight on Rampage (same ****, TBH) a few weeks back?

When is AEW/Tony Khan gonna learn that taking crazy bumps and doing dumb **** doesn't automatically equal ratings?

Well, I hope Tony has a spot backstage for Chuck and that Trent's heel turn doesn't stall out.

How many WWE guys work 3-4 times a week? Honest question. I know they do two house shows a week, but some weeks they don't do any.

Overall the more shows a wrestler works per week the better, but i'm not sure I agree that it's safer. We should also remember that quite a few AEW guys work the indies. The difference in work per week definitely isn't crazy like it was between TNA and WWE back in the day.

By "safer" I mean more like your body gets used to the bumps so it won't hurt you compared to if you just take bumps once a week if evek that.

I think it was Edge or HHH who was saying that. One difference to not competing as much, your body feels it more with every match since your body doesn't build up the resistance as much.
