Update on the Lucha Brothers per Meltzer.... "Penta’s deal was not extended, they didn’t have the right to do that. So he’s gonna be a free agent.

Yikes... not using a guy just because they are heading to WWE is such a Vince move from Tony. No wonder why we haven't seen Ricky Starks.

That's one thing about AEW. They try so hard at times to "not be like the other guys" that they still wind up being like the other guys.

So many things I've seen from AEW in its 5 years involves the very things they were ripping WWE for doing (like the cliche 1 guy dives on 10 people and everyone falls down, or the fact that they run shows 52 weeks a year with no break, or they're now doing PPVs every month).

Everyone finally realizing this is a business. You can't have a company giving free range to talent to do whatever they want whenever they want and at the same time expect to be making money and keeping order within your roster.

Adam Cole confirms what everyone basically knew already, he and Britt broke up but will "still remain close friends"

Also, just found out that Kamille,Toni Storm, Britt Baker and Naomi are all starring in Queen of the Ring. A biopic on Mildred Burke. The film stars Emily Bett Rickards (as Mildred Burke) who people may remember from Arrow with Stephen Amell.

The Arrowverse is really all over the place.

I wonder/hope we get an appearance from her on AEW, even if it's just a crowd shot. Stephen Amell probably shows up too even though Cody isn't there anymore.

Speaking of Adam Cole, i watched the segment with him and Undisputed Kingdom last night. I'm getting the feeling UK is gonna turn on Cole at some point....and if that's the path they go down with having a stable turn on the leader before the group gets off the ground with everyone at full strength...I honestly might stop paying attention to this company.

Funny social media mistake from AEW.

They sent out a post this morning wishing Mercedes Mone a happy birthday (with a birthday graphic of her).

It wasn't her birthday.

HOURS later they corrected the mistake and wished Mercedes Martinez a happy birthday.

If I'm Mone I'm using this on tv this week. Walking in to Dynamite with a bunch of presents people gave her, even brag about AEW sending her a big birthday cheque.

I don't know much about the Costco guys but QT Marshall did a parody of the song they do to hype up the match on the Full Gear Pre-show. Not too bad but all I know is, WWE went and got Logan Paul while AEW went with this YouTuber.

Sounds like WWE originally was planning to do the first Netflix Raw at the Lakers arena but switched last minute to the Clippers arena.

Once the switch happened, AEW came in and booked the arena for Revolution in March.

Will be the first (and only) non WWE wrestling show at that arena since WCW in January 2000, just a few months after they opened.

AEW cancelled Louisiana show and is doing 2 nights in Cincinnati instead.

The shows are in less than 1 month.

They need to redo their live events department because this isn't the first and won't be the last time they cancel/move a show, and on top of that, it's on such short notice where even the new city they're going to has less than a month to buy up tickets.

One of which is a Thursday night taping of Collision. Don't know how many they're getting for 2 nights of shows back to back nights. Dynamite will be it's typical number, Collision I don't see as many going to.

Tony asked about the status of Ricky Starks, he just said anyone can show up on their January 1st show.

Doesn't mean Ricky will show up, but IF he does, I wonder what they'll do with him.

Do they give him the "scapegoat" Jack Perry treatment where he just comes back a changed man with a completely different goal/mindset from before?

Does Tony try his best version of a pipebomb/worked shoot (ask Dustin how NOT to do a worked shoot beforehand though...)

Also, reports coming out about the AEW/Canadian TV negotiations. AEW tried getting a better deal with Sportsnet (WWEs old network) but couldn't get anything so they stayed on TSN while TNA jumped in and got a deal with Sportsnet. Weird to think AEW and TNA were negotiating against each other for TV rights.
