    Re: AEW Off-Topic

    AEW drama continues.

These two could be completely unrelated but...
Adam Cole recently posted telling his twitch followers that he won't be on it for a bit since he's moving (ALONE) which has people wondering why he mentioned he's moving by himself and not with Britt

And a few days later news came out that Britt has been suspended after apparently getting into a confrontation with MJF and his GF. Who knows, maybe that confrontation is related to a possible breakup and her commenting on someone else's relationship or maybe its something unrelated altogether.

But Tony suspending Britt of all people must mean its something bad.

I had seen rumors that they may have split, guess it's true. How long is Cole's contract? Think part of going to AEW was because Britt was there.

Damn that CM Punk for causing backstage issues again.... oh wait. Apparently the whole thing started with Britt saying some stuff about MJF, Alicia overheard and told MJF which led to MJF confronting Britt about it. That's the rumor right now.

Maybe Tony Khan shouldn't have hired MJF's girlfriend just because she's his girlfriend. I would bet money that it was part of his negotiations lol. Sometimes being nice and accommo****** is the wrong call.

Britt there and his old friends like the young bucks and others, it really was a no brainer. I would've been more surprised if he stayed in WWE.

But if they really did split up and he's moving, whenever his deal is up, HHH definitely would be giving him a call.

But also sounds like his deal isn't up until 2027 so he's probably there long term.

She definitely got the job because of being MJFs girlfriend, but it wasn't because of being MJFs girlfriend if that makes sense. I mean it like, she probably wasn't hired because she was MJFs girlfriend, but being his girlfriend got her foot in the door, same thing happens in all professions where "it's who you know".

            Re: AEW Off-Topic

More info on what happened and why MJF wasn't suspended. Adam Cole sitting there thanking his lucky stars he doesn't have to hear her complain about this to him now that they are broken up.

Ibou said, “All of these things are true. MJF did punch a wall. MJF did 100% go into the women’s locker room. The question now is, and the question that many fans have been asking is, then, why did he not get suspended? The reason why he didn’t get suspended is because of the context and order of these events. According to multiple sources, when MJF hit the wall, it was not a case of like he was in front of Britt Baker, and he punched the wall right next to her. Apparently, he had his interaction, and he walked very, very, very far down the hallway where no one was there and then hit a wall.

Apparently, Will Ospreay was the first person to confront Britt Baker and he just kind of asked her why she was starting issues. Ospreay confronted her, asked about it, and Britt Baker went off on Alicia Atout. Britt Baker called Alicia Atout, by multiple accounts, a ‘Stupid fn ****’ because Alicia Atout informed MJF that Britt Baker was berating him, talking crap about Max and Ospreay. Because she was basically like it’s what the story had already been told, she was burying them as their match was going on, the one-hour match. Alicia Atout lets Max know via text message. Max finds out later, Ospreay approaches, MJF comes to the defense of his fiancee. Britt Baker goes off on Alicia for being a snitch, she accused her of being a snitch, called her a ‘Stupid fn *****.’ She said she was going to get her kicked out of the women’s locker room, so on and so forth. MJF going into the women’s locker room was allegedly him going there, knocking and asking if he could enter, and them saying that he could enter, and that’s when he got in the locker room.”

At this point rumors are just rumors, but at the same time, Britts response online to the rumors doesn't exactly make her sound innocent.

Wonder if that stuff happened before or after the breakup which is what could've set things off?

Either way, AEWs locker room is a mess. For all the talk (oddly enough from the vets who should've been the ones setting the standard backstage) about a good environment, seems like every month there's some sort of drama happening in their locker room and people suspended or fined.

Starts at the top. It's good that they have some level of disciplinary committee/HR in place, but when the guy at the top makes questionable hiring decisions, and has his favorite guys/gals, wtf do you expect. Mix in the fact that product is cold af.

TruTV being rebranded as TNT Sports in the fall.

Given Warner is losing the NBA rights, I wonder if they'd think of having AEW on that channel.

Per Bryan Alverez, The Young Bucks apparently have a limited dates contract similar to Brock Lesnar which is why we haven't seen them much. TK refuses to pay them for more dates I guess and they will be back when needed. So part time Tag Team Champs? Do we need a LOLAEW meme lol.

Jeez... TK giving out ridiculous contracts no wonder why he's out bidding WWE for free agents.

So, Cody is gone, Omega might never be back full time, and now same with the Bucks. The 2019 version of me feels especially bummed at where AEW stands right now. Are Jericho and Mox the true AEW originals at this point? lol. At this point it feels like the show they do at the Tokyo Dome will feel like a nostalgia trip in some ways.

Theyre still getting paid as EVPs and that contract is probably worth more money than a talent one is so they're sitting pretty and dont need to wrestle as much

I need MJF to do the full on Kenny Powers entrance at All In. I know they won't be able to use 'Real American' but if somehow they can use Hogan's WCW Theme 'American Made' instead that would amazing.

Update: Fightful says the likely place that would be used is GlobeLife Field in Arlington. The Rangers are on the road from August 29th to September 3rd next year paving the way for All In to be on Sunday August 31st. Have to think this is one of TK's major announcements coming up.

It is now official... AEW All IN Texas 2025 to take place at GlobeLife Field in Arlington, TX on July 12th, 2025. Interesting that they named it All In Texas and also put "All In London" in the press release.

Also Tony Khan said All In will return to London in 2026..... so makes me wonder if WWE has Wembley booked next year for a major show.

After such a huge drop off in tickets after one year, they couldn't keep coming back every single year. I'm genuinely curious how well they do in Texas. It's their first stadium show in the states, but they haven't been doing well with their PPVs in normal venues.
