HBK I didn't mind, considering all of the politicking HBK did in his time. He just found someone that politicked better. Karma.

          Re: AEW Discussion Thread

Decided to watch the "Engraved on a nation" documentary on Omega from a few months back.

Wasn't an AEW production or anything, but that type of stuff built up the Omega-Ibushi stuff so well.

I dont watch companies outside of WWE, but that made me want to watch NJPW and that type of stuff so much. I'm too lazy to bother keeping up over the internet, so I really hope AEW is able to get a TV deal in Canada as well. Not some specialty channel either, but a regular network.

And I've always found some of these smaller promotions to look "low budget". Obviously NJPW is far from that, because the presentation, arena the show was in and all that looked so nice.

If AEW could capture that type of stuff for a North American audience, that'd be huge.

Nice. Also Renee is scheduled to do a meet & greet for NEW during that same weekend. Wonder if WWE will try to pull her from it, she has done NEW events while under contract with WWE before but with Jon in AEW, I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I mean they pulled the plug on Taker doing a Q & A at Starrcast because of it being associated with AEW, so it wouldn't surprise me.

Edit: Tony Khan said that Moxley is allowed to do Indy events but will be full time with AEW once weekly TV on TNT begins.

Cody has said in interviews that the idea is to do about 4 major PPVs per year.

All Out in August will likely be the next one. That's probably where they do Jericho vs Page, and Moxley vs Omega.

Fyter Fest is a CEO show, and Fight For the Fallen is happening at 5,500 seat venue.

This was a better promo than Dean Ambrose ever did.

Ehh not really. The content is funny though. He comes in last night as this counterculture guy that's just going to **** everyone and anyone then the next night he is cutting a promo about he's going to go to war with anyone who gets in AEW's way.

About time the Wild Card Rule got good! He leaves WWE, shows up at Double or Nothing and is wrestling in New Japan as well. Looks like he's doing what Cody did by wrestling all over until AEW on TNT starts.

                              Man. Y'all suck, lmao.

Jon Moxley is about to tear everything up and make everyone forget about Dean Ambrose.

I remember being so excited, even during The Shield, but his solo run was so bad.

Honestly, just put him in a death match with Jimmy Havoc then release him and I'd be totally fine.
