I want to say that’s overkill, but when I was younger they couldn’t put enough wrestling on TV so hopefully someone is enjoying it. I was watching syndicated episodes of five year old WCCW on ESPN every day

It's only overkill if you're watching everything out there, even if you limit it to companies that have a TV deal (WWE, ROH, AEW, Impact, MLW). That comes out to about 13 hours per week. But say you're only watching AEW, that's 4 hours of TV every week. And that's not horrible, it's 1-4 hours less of watching your favorite sports team every week.

It'll be fine as long as the other show doesn't have all the big stars on every week like Dynamite. We don't need two shows with Moxley, Jericho, Cody, The Bucks etc every single week. Assuming it's a live show every week and not a taped thing like dark.

A 2nd show, could it be on Saturdays then? Or maybe it'll be a summer show that they can air in between the NBA offseason.

That second AEW series will be AEWDark, Turner President Kevin Reilly told me. It will be on TNT, it will be weekly but maybe not 52x/year. We do not yet have a weeknight for it, but obv. “Dark” is currently a Tuesday show on YouTube. More from Kevin Reilly: “We’re going to embellish [AEWDark] and put some additional material, kind of behind the scenes, kind of docu-follow stuff, if you will, about the athletes and the stories." Last little bit from Kevin Reilly, when I asked if AEWDark will still have a YouTube presence: "I think we should continue to put some stuff out on YouTube just to build that bridge, but not the whole show." Per Tony Maglio.

How long before Maj reminds us this is just too much wrestling?

Weird thing to say, but I agreed with Russo on some points.

He was on Jerichos podcast not too long ago. Not a bad listen(minus hearing him say "bro" like 200 times).

He mainly talked about the importance of storytelling in wrestling. Nothing new really, but basically saying that the stories are what hooks people, and seeing guys just competing isn't gonna crack it.

Especially when drawing in newer viewers. As ridiculous as some stories are, if you had a non fan see that and then see a regular match, which would have them at least wanting to see more or find out what that's about.

Years ago it was a treat watching him assist book TEW on a live stream. He was making these same points.

Does anyone know where if they make them, where to find an AEW World Championship Replica? Meeting Chris Jericho during Wrestle Con in Tampa and have nothing WWE related for him to sign but also nothing AEW related either.

The 1 wrestler to appear on TNT, FOX and ESPN in less than a weeks span? Not the Rock, or Austin, or Hogan, but....Brodie Lee/Luke Harper.

Time for a WWE vs AEW match that's fitting with the times.

I saw a good seller online(really just @Bard recommendation), but at this point, not sure if you're still looking seeing how I'm guessing all events like that are cancelled.

I could give you my own review on a similar belt in a week or two once I recieved mine, but you can ask him too about those belt qualities. That seller does make AEW belts too(one of their most recent reviews was for the AEW belt).

Jerichos podcast had Hardy and now Brodie on them. Both worth a listen.

Brodie is about what you'd expect in terms of his thoughts on wwe and his exit.

Brodie Lee on talk is Jericho was a very goox listen

Where they wanted him to be the muscle for Sami Zayn, and it also gives a good in depth look at what's happening behind the scenes over in wwe. Specially would have liked to see how they would have done the one gimmick he pitched.

AEW has announced a new Championship and a 8 Man Tournament to determine the first champion. The championship will be called the 'TNT Championship'... basically a Television Championship with a stupid name.

I don't mind the name. Instead of just calling it TV title, call it TNT so it sounds more unique, and it's only gonna be defended on TV on TNT anyways. That's more like what they need.

They may do what WWE is doing and just tape it ahead of time. Perhaps just air it on TNT as a 2-3 hour special. If AEW was smart they do what WWE is doing and air random matches from their PPVs.
