Seems like Tony Khan took to heart some of the criticisms from some of the released talents regarding communications. AEW made an announcement regarding the expansion of its talent relations team.

That's good news to hear.

I know WWEs philosophy for many jobs seems to just be people with fancy resumes, but it does help having people who have been in the business being involved in the roles dealing directly with the talent. It's like seeing one sports team just having these executives in suits handling all their team related stuff vs former players being the ones to do it. Doesn't mean the players will always do a better job, but they'll understand specific things way better.

Has Schiavone ever been in a backstage role like that before? We know JR has been involved with talent relations for years and I'm surprised he wouldn't have taken a lesser role on commentary and moving back into his old talent relations job. Even listening to his podcasts when he talks about his talent relations position, he did seem passionate about being involved in that area.

HBO MAX & Discovery + to merge into One Streaming Service beginning in Summer of 2023. I'm curious what this means for AEW (and ROH) landing on HBO MAX as I think we all assumed Tony would reach a deal to make this happen at some point.

It's the best trio they have. Particularly because Schiavone isn't trying to talk constantly like everyone else, so it's like a 2.5 man booth.

Can't believe this dude was hyped as the next Brock Lesnar. Something is off with him, he just doesn't look smooth at all. And well he hasn't even been wrestling for a year so it makes sense but I see why WWE let him go

Yeah but he must’ve had a killer agent because he had that photo shoot or whatever with Eva Marie, he had Rick Ross shouting him out, that’s pretty good for a kid who was just a NCAA D1 OL a year ago to make that kind of noise

Seems like they are going to give that Parker kid a shot, because they showed him on Dynamite with a stable led by Daivari. I think he has a match on Rampage. They advertised like 6 matches for that 1 hour show, so who knows.

I was there live, the matches were skippable, though Daivari/OC was kind of a banger, but the promos were off the hook, minus Hooks lol.
