That was a Grade A segment. A heel Kenny Omega is exactly what AEW needs.

Yeah they really do a great great job with legends. Showing they’re so much more useful than simply nostalgia

AEW is doing New Years Smash a two night event, Wednesday December 30th and January 6th. I'm guessing it this is supposed to be their version of NJPW's New Years Dash. The January 6th episode goes head to head with NXT's New Years Evil Special and will feature Snoop Dog as the special guest.

That Omega promo was almost word for word the same as the Impact one.

It was great though, but seemed weird doing it twice.

Don Callis is top notch on the mic. Honestly his commentary work for NJPW is one of things that got me into that product. Doubt I'd still be much of a wrestling fan today if not for that.

The Sting segment was great, and somehow managed to not be just pure nostalgia. Feels like it's just a continuation of his career and he's going to be able to contribute in his own way.

It’s because even with a (probable) spike in viewers, nobody watches Impact. Gotta keep the viewers up to date.

On the plus side, Kenny’s promo was 100x better tonight purely because he didn’t repeat that stupid comic book ****.

Soon after Snoop was announced for a future Dynamite, WWE has pulled all Snoop merch from their shop. I never knew he had any.

Let's hope they don't make Sasha change her theme.

There was some Snoop & Undertaker merchandise that was promoting something, but that's all I remember of any Snoop being on WWE Shop. I was trying to figure out why Snoop was appearing on AEW until I read he is also a judge alongside Cody on that Go-Big Show.

Better yet forget the theme song, Sable will return and win the SD Women's Title in 9 seconds after one Sable Bomb.

Carmella is winning the title at TLC.

Callis and Omega are such a great pairing. Excited to see where this goes.

Dynamite on Wednesday did a higher 18-49 rating than Raw did last night.

I'm all for anything which will force WWE to change things up.

But it's crazy to say that even TV ratings won't mean as much to WWE though. Even being outdrawn in numbers, they'll still be making so much other money that it won't matter to them.

I wonder what 90s numbers were like in that demographic. We all know the story about when WCW was winning in the ratings, but when was the first time they beat Raw in that specific demo?

I would assume WCW was winning with that demographic for the duration of their 83 week run. The nWo was geared towards the older demographic, brother

I know they were winning during that span, but I meant if WCW ever won that demo before that time period.
