San Francsico, CA (AP) – The Arizona Diamondbacks continued to roll on Friday night, rallying from a 5-1 deficit in San Francisco to defeat the Giants 7-5 at AT&T Park. David Peralta capped the late rally with a go ahead two-run bomb in the top of the ninth off of reliever Derek Law.

Jean Segura went deep twice in the DBacks win over the Giants.
San Francisco would tie it up in the bottom of the second as Brandon Belt homered to right off of DBacks starter Shelby Miller. A Kelby Tomlinson two-run double in the fifth put the Giants up 3-1. He advanced to third on a throwing error. Tomlinson scored on a Grant Green groundout.
Brandon Belt's second home run of the game, a solo shot, in the sixth put the Giants up 5-1 and it looked like they would cruise to a series opening win.
But this Diamondbacks team got to Jeff Samardzjia the third time through the order. In the top of the seventh, Socrates Brito reached second on a dropped third strike and throwing error by Buster Posey. Brito reached third on a passed ball. He scored on a groundout by pinch hitter Chris Herrmann. Jean Segura followed that with his second home run of the game, a solo shot to center. It was his 10th on the year, and cut the Giants lead to 5-3.
In the eighth, Hunter Strickland came on in relief of Jeff Samardzjia and struck out both Paul Goldschmidt and David Peralta to open the inning. He then hit Jake Lamb with a pitch. Welington Castillo extended the inning witha single through the left side. Ketel Marte then hit a ball to shallow left that Gregor Blanco misplayed, allowing Jake Lamb to score. Socrates Brito then doubled to left, scoring Welington Castillo to tie the game at 5-5.
In the ninth, Yasmany Tomas lined a one-out single to center. After Paul Goldschmidt flew out to center, David Peralta homered to center, to give Arizona a 7-5 lead.
Daniel Hudson came on in the bottom half and sent the Ginats down in order to pick up his 17th save.
The series resumes on Saturday afternoon with Robbie Ray (7-3, 3.03) taking the bump against Jake Peavy (4-9, 3.39).
