Sargent drains a hook and Chavis Holmes hits a 3pter then after Knysas and Hunter trade jumpers, Macklin drops in a couple of layups to pull Charleston Southern to within six, 16-10, halfway through the opening period. Chavis Holmes buries a couple of 3pters and after Shelton Carter and Travis Holmes trade 3pters, Goods and Chavis Holmes trade jumpers.
