Congrats on the great season and sweet 16 appearance!

Are you going to include your goals achieved? I would like to see those, if possible. I'm also interested in your coach ratings, i.e. are you maxed out on discipline, Bobby (or do I have to call you Coach Knight, Sir)?

Any chance you know how many victories the Tenn-Martin coach had before being fired? I'm sweating this one out

I'll go through the goals achieved and put them in. My ratings are not maxed in any category and will be building with emphasis on teaching and discipline being the highest or among the highest.

According to the "Sporting News 2007-08 College Basketball" magazine that I have, Coach Campbell was going to be on the hot seat this season. He only had one winning season since his first year in 1999-2000. In my past season he only had a 4-22 record, so he was canned.

And that's Mr. Knight or Coach Knight to anyone except my relatives and my friends, my friend.

Wow, 10 goals achieved in your first season! Kudos

It's going to take everything out of me to earn three goals with UT Martin, this year. I am praying that I can bump the SkyHawks to 15 wins (currently 10-10) for the winning record goal.

Congrats again on the great season!!

I really had a pretty good team to start with, remember? This team lost it's conference championship tournament game the season before. The only things that I did was:

              1) change the offensive playbook (from motion to flex)
              2) slow the tempo (from 100 to 60)
              3) have them play a looser defense (from 100 to 50)
              4) cut down on fast breaks (from 100 to 50)
              5) change the transition/crash boards (from 50 (neutral) to 30 (more towards a transition defense))
              6) use the starters more (from 60 to 40)

Other than that, the players did a great job in readjusting, although it took a while.

One other note: I don't have nba2k8 so I don't know if Reggie Williams would have been drafted.

One other note: I don't have nba2k8 so I don't know if Reggie Williams would have been drafted.
Actually, College Hoops 2k? designates players as being drafted by the NBA at the conclusion of each season. This occurs during the series of screens that include coach adjustments, the coaching carousel, transfers, etc.

This is how a coach earns goals such as 'Have an undergraduate drafted by the NBA'. This happened for my Santa Clara team in 2k6. I was fortunate enough to recruit the #1 C in the country (satisfying like 4 coaching goals in one swoop). However, he left after his Sophomore season for the NBA, prompting me to move on to the UConn job.

Thanks for the info. I didn't notice that before when I was playing with ODU in 2k7.

I just wonder whether or not it's a next gen thing or if it is for all gens.
