I am hoping Wall can play as well for my Las Vegas Vipers legacy.

By the way where do you get your team logo's from. I would like to do occassional updates for each team and would love to use the logo's in my team report.

I got them from the Virtual Sports Network. Some poster made these logos for everybody over there. But you can just copy them from my association. And for the ones that I only posted for a couple teams, all you have to do is right click it, and click on Open to New Link (I believe), then change the end of the URL to the team you want. So for example if you click on the open to new link for a Mavs logo, the url will be something like. www...logos.mavericks. All you'd have to do is change Mavericks to the team you want.

Btw John Wall is a blast in this game. If you get the right tendencies and ratings, it's just like playing with the actual John Wall. Good luck with your association, i'll be followin.

Hey if you ever get the chance, can you maybe post some of your virtual John Wall's ratings, tendencies, and stats, your rookies have all turned out very well so I was just wondering what ratings you were using.

I am with him... Obviously it would be a little different for me being how I am playin 2k9 and all I did is take the Best Recruit who was a Top-5 selection and edit him with John Wall's height and School. I havn't played a game with him yet but he came in rated a 76. I sent him to a Summer Camp and improved him to a 79.

ya I'll try and get to him today for you. But if you are doing an association just download Vyaras' draft class. I got it from him and didn't edit anything (75 overall) except making the rookies shot tendency a little higher for the top 10 picks so they'd score more, rather than the best rookie averaging 12 ppg.

For the next year in my association, I am going to create next year's draft class by myself since I accidentally didn't upload it when it was asked.

Anyway, listen to this idea I have that might be crazy. I want to continue this association in 2k11. So I am thinking I'll edit rosters, and some contracts, to make them similar to mine, and then I'll download a draft class and re-create the draft I did in here. That way this dynasty will never die because I'm switching games! Could be a big project with a lot of work, but I'm up for it. To do it, I will most likely copy ratings and statistics then edit rosters , do a couple sims to make sure it looks right, and then continue this. So I am hoping to get Year 2 done before 2k11 comes out, so I can start Year 3 then.

EDIT: sorry couldn't get to it today. but next thing tommorrow hopefully

                  Re: The Association (2K10)

Alright, posted a good amount of games. Here's what's done:

                  -Mavs/Hornets series is over.

-Lakers/Spurs series has had 4 games, with game 5 coming up soon.

-Thunder/Jazz series just finished their 5th game, and Game 6 is coming up soon.

-Nuggets/Grizzlies series has had 4 games, with game 5 coming up soon.

                  -Nets/Bobcats series is over.

-Pacers/76ers series has had 4 games, with game 5 coming up soon.

-Hawks/Magic just finished their 5th game, and Game 6 is coming up soon.

                  -Knicks/Celtics series is over.

Well so far this playoffs has been exciting, and we got some big elimination games coming up. I have to keep playing the Nuggets, Thunder, and Hawks series until they finish. Also, I will have to keep playing the Lakers/Spurs series, and the Pacers/76ers series after their game 5 is finished up.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

Add John Wall to a team with Danny Granger, and you got a decent team

                        Re: The Association (2K10)

I actually figured out why the 76ers had homecourt over Indiana. It's because Indiana needed a top 4 seed over the Sixers due to them winning their division, but the 76ers had the better record. This happened in 2007, when #5 Houston had home court over #4 Utah.

Good job 2k, you got a complicated tie-breaker correct. Labeled me as impressed.

                            (4)@(1)

Both teams took care of business in the first round, and now the Mavericks and Lakers are set to face off against each other.

While it may seem the Lakers have the best player in this series, that is debatable, with Dirk Nowitzki actually putting up better numbers this year than Kobe Bryant, and lead the Mavs to the #1 seed. The point guard battle consists of two vets in Steve Blake, a 3 point specialist, and Jason Kidd who lead the league in assists this year. Neither will blow you away with their athleticism, yet with their basketball IQ, they get it done. Solid defender Shawn Marion looks to disrupt Kobe Bryant for this series, with his length, but lately Kobe has been on his game. In the Spurs series, Kobe went back to being---well, Kobe. Mid-season acquisition Luol Deng has played well so far for the Mavericks helping them complete their team and making them a title contender. However, Ron Artest will be guarding him, so you can bet that Deng will struggle at times to score. The Lakers do have a problem on defense with their match-up of Dirk Nowitzki. Pau Gasol is not agile enough to play with Dirk, so Artest or Kobe may need to switch at times, or Nowitzki will light the Lakers up. Expect Lamar Odom to get a lot of playing time because of this. Then, there's Superman himself, Shaquille O'Neal, versus his rival Lakers, and Andrew Bynum. While O'Neal is old, he is still talented on the low block and should give Bynum fits.

Overall, this series looks to be tight, with two of the best teams in the NBA squaring off. Don't be suprised if either team pulls this off.

                            Prediction: Mavericks 4, Lakers 2

                            Game 1

The Lakers jumped out to a huge lead during Game 1, and fought off a tough Maverick comeback to steal the first game of this playoff series on the road.

L.A. held a 60-40 lead at the break, and Dallas got within 6 with 2 minutes left, but it was to no avail. Kobe Bryant is back to him old self, scoring 29 and dishing out 7 assists. When the Mavs threatened late, he was the one who scored 5 consecutive points to close the deal. 6 Lakers scored in double digits including Artest, who hit several treys, with 19, Gasol had 12 and 12, Bynum managed 12 also, Odom dropped 11, and Blake had 10 on the night. This game was a big disappointment for the Mavs, who now give up their home court advantage. Shawn Marion lead all Maverick scorers with 22, and Dirk Nowitzki and Rodrigue Beaubious followed with 20, plus Deng had a solid 15. Dirk, while still scoring a lot, struggled throughout the game when his team needed him, missing several shots. Beaubious was the reason for the Mavs comeback, sparking the team with 20 points in only 19 minutes. Coach Rick Carlisle left him in at the end of the game instead of Kidd, who had an off game.

The Mavericks now need Game 2, in order to get back into this series, or else the Lakers take a 2-0 lead and head back to L.A. In order to do so, they'll need to maintain Kobe Bryant, and cut down on all the Laker threes which killed them in the first half.

Game 1 Final Score: Lakers 101, Mavericks 93

                            Game 2

Don't ask Mark Cuban about this one. He might hit you, as his Maverick's playoff woes continue, as they are on brink of another upset.

Kobe Bryant dropped 31, and helped the Lakers pull of the improbable 2-0 series lead, with both wins coming in Dallas. The rest of the Lakers were extremely effective also, as Artest had 19 again, Blake scored 14 and handed out 10, plus Gasol had 12 and grabbed 18 boards. The Lakers dominated from beginning to end, once again grabbing a big 16 point halftime lead. Nowitzki did all he could for Dallas scoring 27 but it wasn't enough. Deng helped out with 22, Terry added 12, and Shaq had 10. Once again, Jason Kidd was awful, scoring 0 points and only handing out 4 assists in 36 minutes of play. Rodrigue Beaubious didn't play much this game, but the Mavs will most likely up his playing time, and demote Kidd for the rest of their series.

The Lakers shocked Dallas twice at the American Airlines Arena, and it is now up to the Mavs to return the favor. They'll need a lot more help though from their point guard position however, and consistent play from their wings Luol Deng and Shawn Marion if they have any hope.

Game 2 Final Score: Lakers 108, Mavericks 90

                            Game 3

Despite all the adversity, and the claims that they couldn't get it done, the Mavs fought their way back into the series. Down 12, with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, the Mavs went on a tear, outscoring the Lakers by 27 the rest of the way.

Luol Deng was on fire in the 4th, scoring 15 of his 24 points in the final period. Giving Rodrigue Beaubious more playing time was a genius idea by Rick Carlisle, as he once again scored 20 points and had some fantastic dunks which ignited the Maverick run. Marion had 15, and Nowitzki added 14, as Odom and Gasol did a great job on him. Kobe Bryant did all he could for the Lakers with 27, but in the 4th he went cold, and the Mavs took advantage. Odom was next for the Lake show, as he scored 15, and Steve Blake dropped 14. The Lakers had their shot at taking a large 3-0 lead, and basically putting the Mavericks away, but Dallas fought back and now only trail 2-1.

This series has been crazy, as no home team has won yet. L.A. will hope to end that streak in Game 4, as they will try and take a 3-1 lead.

Game 3 Final Score: Mavericks 105, Lakers 88

                            Game 4

Wow, is all that can be said about the Lakers performance today. L.A. scored 137 points in front of their home crowd, dominating the Mavericks, and taking a 3-1 series lead.

Kobe Bryant keeps putting up a lot of points for the Lakers dropping 32, and Pau Gasol dominated 23 and 17. That wasn't all the production the Lakers got though, as Artest scored 19, Bynum managed 13, Steve Blake helped with 12, and Jordan Farmar finished with 11. The Lakers with this offensive performance scored 42 points in the first quarter! Needless to say, they took a 22 point lead after the first period. After that, the Lakers just continued hitting shots, and downed the Mavs. Rodrigue Beaubious continues his hot streak, scoring 22 points for Dallas in only 20 minutes of play. Dirk has been contained all series, and only put up 20 in this one. Marion helped out with 15, and Luol Deng was off, settling for 11.

The Dallas defense needs to switch up their strategy somehow before Game 5, or else their season will be over. Beaubious is contributing for the Mavericks but it seems no one else is playing their best. At a time like the playoffs, that is unacceptable and will result in elimination. The Mavericks need to change something or else there is no way that they come back in this series.

                            Game 5

The Mavericks sent a message to the Lakers during Game 5 of this Western Conference Semi-Finals match-up. They're not going down without a fight, as once again Dallas has clawed themselves back into this series.

For the first time this series, Dallas has protected their home court. They can thank their offensive explosion in the 2nd half, and every player on the court in a blue uniform coming through. Deng was on fire throughout the match, scoring 29 points and attempting to match Kobe point-for-point. Shaquille O'Neal was really effective inside against the Lakers totalling 14 points and 9 boards. Dirk had 13 and 12, while not his best effort, still a solid line. Shawn Marion also had 13, and all of them coming in the second half. Terry hit a couple three's scoring 12, and Beaubois had 12 and 9 assists, sharing time with Kidd who had 10 and 7 assists. Kobe was dominant for the Lakers dropping 30, but L.A. couldn't close out the series. Bynum was dominant inside with 19 and 10. But Kobe and Bynum didn't get much help. The only other player that scored in double digits was Artest with 13. Gasol had his worst game of the post-season, and Nowitzki did a great job defending Odom, as the Mavs rolled. At the end of the game, Luol Deng scored 6 of the Mavs' last 8 points, and Kobe failed to score a game-tying basket with 30 seconds left, and Dallas eventually won with free throws.

The Lakers need to win Game 6, or else they could let this series slip. A loss next game, means a Game 7 at Dallas. Lakers smell blood in the water, and with the best closer in the game in Kobe Bryant, they need to get it done.

Game 5 Final Score: Mavericks 107, Lakers 101

                            Game 6

With the game on the line, it was Kobe Bryant coming through for the Purple & Gold. Bryant scored 33 points, dished out 7 assists, in a massive Game 6 performance.

The rest of the Lakers also showed up for the big game, as Pau Gasol set his bad Game 5 effort behind him, totaling 23 points and 14 boards in the win. Then Andrew Bynum was also a beast down low, scoring 14 and grabbing another 14 boards. Lamar Odom finished off the great play from L.A. in the paint, with 10 points and 7 rebounds. The Mavericks couldn't handle that, as inside they got dominated. Shaq had 10 rebounds, but still the Lakers took a + 16 rebounding margin. In the tough elimination loss, Dirk Nowitzki had 22 for the Mavs. Deng showed up with 19, and Marion added 13. Beaubois had 0 points and 2 assists in the first half, yet threatened the Lakers with a big run, ending up with 13 points and 10 assists. Jason Kidd also had 10 assists, to go along with his 10 points. Another season ends in disappointment for Mark Cuban, as his team fell short of their expectations as a #1 seed.

Dirk is unaware of his future as an upcoming free agent, and will take time off. Jason Kidd already announced retirement before the year started. The Mavs may be in total disarray, but they still have hope in a player like Beaubois who is the future of this team, and with an owner like Cuban, the Mavs could dish out for a star player at any time. Meanwhile, the Lakers keep on winning, advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

                              (3)vs.(2)

At the midst of defeat, great teams always come through. That was what the Thunder and Nuggets did in their first round playoff series, at the brink of elimination. In Game 6, in a rough Utah environment, Kevin Durant and the Thunder came through and won back to back games to take the series. Then the Nuggets avoided a large upset when they won three straight games against the Memphis Grizzlies to advance to the second round.

Now the fans are presented with a fantastic matchup. Kevin Durant vs. Carmelo Anthony, two of the best NBA players we have today, will face off for a playoff series. They will most likely guard each other at points in the game, although the Thunder will use Thabo Sefelosha and the Nuggets will use Aaron Afflalo. These two have the ability to drop 40 on any night, and give us an extremely entertaining series. Russel Westbrook was almost unstoppable against the Jazz, playing great against Deron Williams, and now faces Chauncey Billups. Billups struggled mightily against the Grizz, and if his struggles continue the Thunder will have a huge advantage at the point. In the paint, the Nuggets seem to have a solid edge with the duo of Kenyon Martin and Nene coming off a series in which they handled Memphis inside. Jeff Green is a very good player, but he is undersized and outmatched in this game, and Nene is a big mis-match for Nenad Krstic.

Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony both have great supporting casts, and it may be up to them, if either will take the series. However, with the Thunder having home court advantage due to a tie-breaker rule, they seem to be the favorite.

                              Prediction: Thunder 4, Nuggets 3

                              Game 1

Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony did their jobs, both leading their teams in scoring. However, it was Durant's supporting cast that outplayed Anthony's, and gave the Thunder the W.

Anthony dropped 31 in a stellar performance, and Durant was solid with 23 and 13 on the night. Billups matched Durant with 23 of his own, but other than Anthony and Billups no one on the Nuggets scored double digits. Durant meanwhile had help from Nate Robinson who scored 19 in 24 minutes off the bench, Westbrook who helped with 17, and Nenad Krstic who stepped up with 14 and 11. J.R. Smith, Nene and Kevin Martin both didn't score more than 5 points, in a terrible effort. The Thunder grabbed a decent lead with Anthony on the bench in the 2nd quarter, outscoring the Nuggets 23-12, to grab a 14 point halftime lead. From there, they held on, grabbing the W by 10 points.

The Thunder won the first game on their home court, but Denver is still in good shape. After a bad performance like that, and to only lose by 10 points, they definitely believe they can steal Game 2 in Oklahoma City.

Game 1 Final Score: Thunder 102, Nuggets 92

                              Game 2

Down 5 with a minute and a half to go, Russel Westbrook took a chance. If it succeeded he was a hero, if not the Nuggets would most certainly win the game. Westbrook shot the ball from the NBA Playoffs logo, with 15 seconds left on the shot clock, and the ball swished the net, and the Thunder cut the lead to 2. Billups, who's plan was to sag off of the speedy Westbrook, was dumbfounded.

The Thunder then got a much-needed stop, and Durant was found open for 3. Clank. Durant shockingly missed the wide open 3, but Nenad Krstic grabbed the offensive board, and kicked it back out to the 'Durantula'. He then responded by hitting a tough shot in Carmelo's face to grab the lead. Carmelo tried to answer, but missed a tough mid-range jumper, and Westbrook hit a runner. The Nuggets wouldn't score again until 5 seconds were left, and the game was well over. The Thunder had taken a 2-0 series lead, and protected their home court. Kevin Durant had 24 for the Thunder, and Russel Westbrook was his right-hand man with 20 and 7 for the game. James Harden came up big off the bench for OKC, scoring 19 and clinching the game with free throws. J.R. Smith was clutch all night for the Nuggets, hitting 2 buzzer beaters in the first half and finishing with 29. Carmelo was also his usual self with 26. They didn't get much help, other than Wesley Johnson with 14, as their inside game struggled and Billups was in foul trouble.

The Thunder did their job in front of their rowdy fans, and now if the Nuggets want to advance, they'll most likely need to return the favor, and win 2 straight in Denver.

Game 2 Final Score: Thunder 98, Nuggets 94

                              Game 3

Everybody wrote off the Nuggets when they got into a 3-1 deficit against the Grizzlies last round. Now the media will do the same, as the Thunder blew out Nuggets, silencing the Denver crowd, and taking a 3-0 series lead.

Russel Westbrook played his heart out for the Thunder in Game 3, with 28 points and 16 assists, in a game he dominated from beginning to end. Kevin Durant then joined him with 21 points and Oklahoma City was rolling. The rest of the team was also feeling it, as Jeff Green poured in with 16, Harden contributed with 15, Little Nate Robinson scored 15 off the bench, and Krstic had 10. Denver meanwhile, had nowhere near the output the Thunder did, as Carmelo Anthony basically had to do it all himself. Anthony had a great game with 28 and 13 boards, but the only Nugget to help him out was J.R. Smith with 16. Where was Mr. Big Shot? Nene and Martin inside? Nowhere to be seen, and the Nuggets suffered.

No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs, and it seems unlikely the Nuggets will do so. But there is always a chance, and if somehow, someway, they will pull it out, it will be because Chauncey and the Nuggets inside game decided to join Anthony & Smith.

Game 3 Final Score: Thunder 102, Nuggets 74

                              Game 4

The Nuggets offense was on fire, avoiding elimination for the 4th time this playoffs. 8 players on Denver scored in double digits, answering the critics who said Anthony didn't have much of a supporting cast.

Thunder star Jeff Green was announced inactive before the game due to a lower back injury, and Denver took advantage. Carmelo lead the Nuggets with 31, and had tons of help on the night. J.R. Smith scored 15, Both of their point guards in Lawson and Billups helped with 13, Kenyon Martin helped with 10, and Nene, Wesley Johnson, and Afflalo all had 10. The Nuggets combined to score 114 routing the Thunder. The Thunder did however, have a lead at half-time but the third quarter was a mess. Denver outscored OKC 38-15, turning the game into a blowout. Kevin Durant had 32, and Russel Westbrook helped with 21, but with missing their third piece to the puzzle in Jeff Green, the team suffered. Green is out for 1-2 weeks, so the Thunder are doubtful he'll make it back into this series, unless it goes to a Game 7.

The Nuggets do what they have done best throughout the playoffs, keep on winning when it matters most. But to do this 3 more games against a Thunder team is a daunting task, a task that has never been completed before.

Game 4 Final Score: Nuggets 114, Thunder 92

                              Game 5

The absence of Jeff Green is really hurting the Thunder offense. And it showed in Game 5, as the Nuggets steamrolled Oklahoma City, 96-60.

The Nuggets took a 20 point lead in the 1st thanks to hot shooting from Carmelo Anthony and Wesley Johnson, and amazing defense. From there they took a 60-28 lead at the half, solidifying the win. The win came in Oklahoma, shocking the NBA, and preventing the Nuggets from being eliminated. Carmelo dropped 35, despite not playing much, and rookie Wesley Johnson was phenomenal with 18. Billups joined in with 12, and Smith had 10. The only two Thunder players to do anything on the offensive end was Kevin Durant with 18, and Russel Westbrook scoring 16. The rest of the Thunder have been absent since their 3-0 lead. Nobody is sure if Jeff Green will come back this series with his lower back strain, but if he can't it is a big blow to this team.

The Nuggets return to Denver for Game 6, believing they can come back from the 3-0 deficit, something no team has done before. They'd need to protect their home court in Game 6, then steal Game 7 in OKC. Kevin Durant called his team's effort 'embarrassing' and vows that his team will win this series.

Game 5 Final Score: Nuggets 96, Thunder 60

                              Game 6

No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit, yet here the Nuggets are, still believing they can pull this thing off. History could be made in Oklahoma City for Game 7, as the Nuggets cruised to a 91-80 victory tying the series up.

Carmelo Anthony continues his red hot tear, scoring 39 points. However, unlike the beginning of this series, he's got some help. J.R. Smith was draining triples, ending up with 21, and Chauncey Billups held his own with 16 and 9. The Thunder meanwhile seemed like a mess. Kevin Durant had a bad shooting night, and while still managing 23 points, shot under 35%. James Harden did hit some big shots for them, tallying 17, and Serge Ibaka had some monster jams scoring 15, but it wasn't enough. Russel Westbrook was ice cold throughout the game struggling with only 9 points. He twisted his ankle in the 4th quarter, to add to the Thunder's injury problems. This game was all tied up at the end of the 3rd, but in the final period, the Thunder came undone. There was no offense for Oklahoma City, as Harden and Durant were the only one hitting shots. Carmelo was unstoppable, and when Smith joined in with two straight 3's, the Thunder were hopeless.

The nightmare for the Thunder is coming closer and closer to them everyday, and judgement day awaits in Game 7. Without Jeff Green again, and a hurt Westbrook could this team be the first team ever to blow a 3-0 series lead in the NBA playoffs? They'll still have their home crowd though, but it might not be enough to stop the red hot Nuggets.

Game 6 Final Score: Nuggets 91, Thunder 80

                              Game 7

After losing 3 straight and with some of their core star players injured, the Thunder could've given up. Instead, they played brilliantly in front of their home crowd during Game 7, stopping the Nuggets, and advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

After one quarter, the game was tied and the outcome was still clearly undecided. Then, Nate Robinson and James Harden came off the bench providing a much needed spark. Harden hit 3 threes in that quarter, and Robinson electrified the crowd with a steal, then saving it before it went out of bounds under the opponent's back court by doing a school-yard type reverse lay-up before falling out of bounds. Then Kevin Durant got hot, scoring 12 points to total 16 at the half. The Nuggets were outscored 31-12 that quarter, and Carmelo Anthony was nowhere to be found. With a 19 point halftime lead, the Thunder cruised to the finish, eventually taking the game. But still the Thunder weren't so lucky, as their Kevin Durant went down at the start of the third quarter after a bucket, twisting his ankle. Now not only has Jeff Green been out for most of this series, and possibly some of the next, but Durant and Westbrook both have twisted ankles. The Thunder would still win, by only 13, as the Nuggets made a late run in the 4th to cut into the lead a little bit. James Harden was huge off the bench, leading the Thunder with 21, and Durant, although basically playing only one half was next with 18. Westbrook tallied 13 points and 10 assists, and Nate Robinson also scored 13. Defensive specialist Thabo Sefelosha also joined in on the action with 12. J.R. Smith was the only Nugget doing much scoring with 21, and Carmelo struggled all game with only 16. Chauncey Billups was atleast creating with 11 points and 10 assists, but his team came up short. At the end of the 1st half, an altercation occurred with Carmelo Anthony. He was seen jawing at players on their own team, visibly not pleased with their performance in the 2nd quarter. However, for most of the game it was Anthony not looking up to par.

The Thunder, while wounded, have advanced to play the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, while the Nuggets have a rough future ahead of them. They will most likely lose J.R. Smith, and possibly Chauncey Billups, but what about Carmelo Anthony? An interesting summer lies ahead.

                                Re: The Association (2K10)

                                (4)@(1)

The Nets dominant duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade is clearly the best the NBA has to offer. Together, they lead the Nets to the #1 overall record in the league, and the second round. But if any team has a pair of players with enough star power to match that, it's the Pacers. John Wall and Danny Granger have continually torched teams, and surprised most fans by exceeding expectations. These four will most likely be matched up against each other, with Dhantay Jones occasionally giving Granger a break of guarding LeBron. T.J. Ford and Devin Harris will most likely guard each other, and Harris has the obvious edge, but the speedy Ford could give Harris problems throughout the series. Don't be shocked if Ford can outplay Harris for parts of games. John Wall vs. Dwyane Wade will be a blur to watch, with both having insane quickness and speed. Wade is the more accomplished player, and should give Wall fits, but the Rookie of the Year won't go down without a fight, and did play well against the Nets during the regular season. Danny Granger averages more points than LeBron, but that's about all he has on him. The King is the current MVP, and is a better passer and rebounder. The Pacers may not be able to match up with him, which is a large problem. The inside-out game is great for the Pacers with Hibbert in close, and Murphy hitting outside shots, which should give the Nets some issues. But Lopez is just as good, if not better than Hibbert, and is a great option inside for New Jersey.

This series is full of the quickest, and the best, but the Nets are just too talented for this inexperienced Pacer team. The Nets should coast.

                                Predictions: Nets 4, Pacers 1

                                Game 1

The Nets used a team effort to slow down the Indiana Pacers, who gave a valiant effort, but in the end came too short.

The Pacers held a 8 point lead deep into the 3rd, until the Nets turned it on. LeBron James scored 10 more points at that point in the game, and finished with 23 and 7 assists. Dwyane Wade helped him out with 17, and Brook Lopez was a beast with 12 points and 14 boards. The rest of the Net line-up was productive with Devin Harris and Chris Douglas-Roberts both adding 10. On defense, is where the Nets earned the W though. They frustrated Danny Granger all game, who managed 19, but missed most of his looks. John Wall was also defended well, and he was held to 14. The Pacer big men did all they could with their dynamic duo struggling, as Hansborough had 14 off the bench, Hibbert was tough inside with 12 and 11, and Murphy scored 12. However, it was the 14 point 4th quarter that did the Pacers in, as they couldn't find much offense late in the game.

The Nets were supposed to win this game, and they did. But the Pacers get a mental win with this loss, showing the NBA that they can take this team of all-stars.

Game 1 Final Score: Nets 96, Pacers 85

                                Game 2

The duo of Granger and Wall struggled all Game 1. Game 2 was a completely different story, as they combined for 58 points in a big upset victory in New Jersey.

Granger had 31, and Wall chipped in with 27 of his own, outplaying LeBron and Wade. LBJ only had 20, and Wade scored 17, as they both were contained by the Pacer D. The Pacers jumped out to a big 15 point lead at halftime, as Wall had 17 early. The Nets stormed back, to get it within 3 before the final quarter, as they held the Pacers to only 8 in a quarter. But then Granger went off in the 4th, scoring 16 in the final period, and stopping the Nets from going up 2-0. Brook Lopez had 12, and Harris scored 10, in a tough losing effort for New Jersey. Fans of New Jersey are now calling out LeBron and Wade, their two marquee free agent signings. With their time to shine in the playoffs, they are playing mediocrely. Wade hasn't had a breakout game, and LeBron hasn't been his usual dominating himself. Instead, they are relying on their supporting cast which is hurting them. The Pacers took advantage of weak performances by Wade and James, and evened the series.

The Nets need to wake up, especially LeBron and Wade, in this trip to Indiana. If the Pacers protect their home court, they will go up 3-1, and most likely go on to win the series. New Jersey needs to steal one on the road to claim home court advantage back.

Game 2 Final Score: Pacers 99, Nets 88

                                Game 3

All after Game 2, the Nets heard criticism from their fans about last game's effort. That criticism didn't last very long, as the Nets put a beat down on the Pacers in Game 3, and let the rest of the NBA know, that they are still the team to beat.

LeBron scored 33 points in the rout, answering those who said LeBron wasn't doing enough. James was well on his way to 40, but he sat the last 9 minutes of the game. Wade had 25, also sitting a large amount of the game. Together, they helped the Nets build a huge lead in the 2nd quarter, and take a 58-30 lead into half time. From there, the game was all over, and the Nets easily won 102-72. Granger lead the Pacers with 19, and John Wall had 15, but they were the only two Pacers in double digits. Everyone else was shut down by the tremendous Nets defense. The Nets meanwhile weren't just all LeBron and Wade, Chris Douglas-Roberts had 14, Devin Harris added 12 and 10, plus Brook Lopez had 15 and 10 boards.

The Pacers need to regroup and forget about Game 3, since they still have a shot at evening this series in Game 4. But if the Nets play their 'A' game, it doesn't seem like any team in the league can stop them.

Game 3 Final Score: Nets 102, Pacers 72

                                Game 4

After an embarrassing beat down in Game 3, the Pacers did the unthinkable, and rebounded by winning Game 4 in dramatic fashion.

Despite the big loss, this Pacers crowd didn't give up on their team cheering louder than ever before, and giving them a true home court advantage. Granger responded from his bad performance last game, leading all scorers in the game with 27. His accomplice wasn't so bad either, as John Wall dropped 20. They outdid Wade and LeBron as it was the King struggled with only 16 on the night, and Wade was solid but nothing spectacular with 22. The Pacers back court dominated the entire night, as Ford was also great with 19, and him and Wall created numerous fast break opportunities throughout the game. Even with the Nets struggling, they were in it the entire way. Wade was stellar throughout the 4th, and the Nets were only down 3 with a minute remaining. The Pacers had possession though, and instead of running a play for Granger, they used him as a decoy. Instead, they found a wide open Mike Dunleavy who nailed a 3 pointer to clinch the win.

Once again, Nets fans aren't impressed with their team's efforts. They have seen what their team is capable off, but right now they don't have the urgency to win, nor are putting in the effort. The Pacers are right back in it, but still need to steal a game at the Izod Center.

Game 4 Final Score: Pacers 105, Nets 101

                                Game 5

Some critics complained how LeBron James was given MVP. They claimed that he didn't put up the right enough statistics and all other sorts of information. Not many people complained about this after Game 5, as LeBron dazzled the Nets en route to victory.

James scored 40 points on the night, continuously keeping the pesky Pacers at bay, and helping his team avoid a fourth quarter come back. Dywane Wade was also phenomenal scoring 26 on the night, and when LeBron was on the bench, it was Wade who tore the Pacer defense apart. Granger did what he could for Indiana, trying to keep up with LeBron, scoring 30 but didn't get much help from his teammates. T.J. Ford continued to play well with 16, but no other Pacer scored in double-digits. Wall was held to 9, although he did have 10 assists in the ball game. The Nets held a 13 point lead at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but the Pacers raced back into the game, cutting it to 4, thanks to Danny Granger. But LeBron scored 10 of his 40 in the last 6 minutes, and put Indiana away.

Now the Pacers have to win at home to force a Game 7 back in New Jersey. The Pacers have never had a lead in this series, but have always succeeded in tying it up when given the opportunity. Most blame this on the Nets, who seem to only succeed when absolutely necessary. We'll see if history repeats itself in Game 6.

                                Game 6

The Pacer crowd was going crazy all game long, as their Pacers shut down the prolific Net offense, and forced a Game 7 in New Jersey.

John Wall has been criticized for some of his play in this series, but he responded with 25 points in Game 6. That's not all he did though, as he held Dwyane Wade to 12 points on offense, even stealing the ball from him 4 times and blocking 2 of his shots. Granger was also great for the Pacers, scoring 21 points and surprisingly grabbing 11 boards. He hit big shots all game long to keep the Nets at bay, and also shut down LeBron, as he only managed 16. Roy Hibbert joined in, with 12 and 10 of his own. Other than LeBron and Wade, nobody on the Nets scored in double-digits. The Pacers jumped out early, grabbing a 15 point lead in the first half, and maintained it the whole entire way. Wade went 4-17 from the floor in a putrid performance, and James did the same shooting 5-16. LeBron called their offensive performance a 'nightmare' in Game 6, and says Dwyane and him need to look to be more aggressive in Game 7.

The Pacers did win Game 2 in New Jersey, and although Game 7 is a completely different monster, they can certainly get it done. They need to watch out for James and Wade exploding early though, as they have done before when they needed to this playoff series.

Game 6 Final Score: Pacers 80, Nets 70

                                Game 7

The much anticipated Game 7 between these two high-flying teams turned out to be boring. The Nets lead by 12 in the first quarter, and kept that lead until the 4th. It seemed as though the Nets would easily win, much to the dismay of NBA fans. However, in the 4th quarter, a monster had awoken. That monster was John Wall, as he scored 20 of his 32 points in a dominant 4th quarter.

Wall had his mid-range game working, and also had some highlight-reel dunks. His dunk over LeBron James is one to be played for a while on Sports Center. The rookie was clutch, trying to thwart the plans of Wade and James. However, it wasn't enough. The Nets still hung on, despite the rookie's efforts. They hit their free throws, and stopped Danny Granger's last second 3 pointer to tie the game. James and Wade controlled the game scoring 26 and 24, respectively. They even got much needed help, with Brook Lopez finishing with 14 and 14, and Harris scoring 14 also, but dishing out 11 dimes. John Wall's heroics were outperformed by the whole Nets squad. The Pacers meanwhile, did help out Wall a good amount. Granger struggled, only scoring 19 with 9-25 shooting, but he did score 8 of those in the 4th when needed. Tyler Hansborough has transitioned to the NBA successfully, as he was a fantastic hustle player all night, ending with 14 points. Also, the quick, speedy T.J. Ford, dropped 13, including 11 in the second quarter, which kept the Pacers in range.

The Pacers fell short, in a classic game. The favorite Nets roll on, awaiting the winner of the Knicks-Hawks series. John Wall put up a valiant effort, but the best team is what won.

I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.
