Minnesota Makes It 4 Straight With Win Over Boston

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: Dion Waiters. Since the Kevin Love trade brought him to Minnesota, Waiter has been playing like a man on a mission. His 28 point and 5 rebound performance led the Timberwolves to their 4th straight victory. Maybe Cleveland should've held him out of the deal.

LVP: Jared Sullinger. Sullinger tried to go head to head with Bennett all game long and his field goal percentage took a hit because of it. Sullinger only shot 4-of-12 from the field.

X-Factor: Ricky Rubio. Rubio flirted with another triple double by finishing with 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 dimes. He was the x-factor on offense but he dogged it on defense, something coach Adleman won't appreciate.

Rookie Watch: Anthony Bennett and Kelly Olynyk. Bennett finished with a nice double double dropping 22 points and grabbing 12 boards in 36 minutes. Fellow Canadian Kelly Olynyk scored 17 and pulled down 15 points in 35 minutes of action.

Wizards Prevail In 100-96 Win Over Timberwolves

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: John Wall. Wall had an off shooting night (5-of-22) but he did pitch in on the boards with 4 and had a team high 11 assist. He also had a hand in the defense played on Dion Waiters all game long.

LVP: Dion Waiters. Waiters couldn't get it going against the Wizards like he's been doing all season long against other teams. His shot wasn't falling at all with Washington sending double teams at him throughout the game. He could've had way more assist if he played smart against the double teams thrown at him.

X-Factor: Kevin Seraphin. The 6'10 big man from France shot a perfect 6-of-6 from the field on his way to scoring 13 points and pulling down 4 rebounds in 12 minutes off the bench.

Rookie Watch: Anthony Bennett and Otto Porter. Bennett had another nice outing finishing with a team high 23 points and 10 rebounds. Porter only saw 6 minutes off the bench and finished with 2 points on 1-of-4 shooting from the field.

Bennett And Gorgui Push T-Wolves Past Pelicans

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: Anthony Bennett. Bennett scored a game high 26 points and dished a career high 4 assist in the blowout win over the Pelicans. Coming off a disappointing 9 point performance against the Mavericks, Bennett came out aggressive from opening tip and bullied Ryan Anderson all evening long.

LVP: Jrue Holiday. The Pelicans #2 guy behind Anthony Davis scored a season low 6 points on 1-of-6 shooting from the field. The Timberwolves point guards harassed Holiday every second he was on the court leading to him being replaced by Brian Anderson in the 4th quarter.

X-Factor: Gorgui Dieng. The former Louisville Cardinal had his best game as a pro scoring 18 points with 12 rebounds. Dieng also showed off his defensive skills with a game high 3 blocks.

Rookie Watch: Lorenzo Brown. Brown continued to excel in his backup role dishing out a career best 12 assist to go with his 6 points and 3 rebounds. Brown has completely knocked J.J. Barea out of the rotation with his impressive play.
