Big Win against Cleveland! Bench really stepped up. Fultz going out will hurt for a little while, but you got plenty of guys on your squad who can soak up those minutes.
    Any comments are welcome.

Yea I t was a big win. I have so many guys needing minutes that the small injuries like this will help me out in the long run. Yea my bench especially J.J has played great this year I don't know why as I haven't done anything different. I think J.J leads the NBA in 3 point % (mostly with cpu using him)

I am really struggling find a move for the Cavs to make I want to bring in a defense SG. They have the assets to make I may have to include Zizic or something. I have my eye on someone for them I just need the team to quit winning so it makes sense lol

Re: 2k18 - 76ers "the process needs results"

Mike Conley is doing WORK for the Grizz -- his trade value has to be the highest it's ever been with the amount of points he's scoring. Impressive.

Love seeing Myles Turner leading the league in blocks, the 76ers team scoring is very well-distributed. The Jazz and Wizards are going to miss their guys, but at least the Bulls will get another top pick with how awful they are.

Yea I think I am going to have to trade Conley before the deadline even with him they are getting a top 5 pick. They are a lot of teams that can offer there PG + other assets and a draft pick and upgrade like Knicks, Suns, and Bucks. I am leaning toward suns who can offer Duval, Warren (drafted Porter) plus a draft pick. The Magic and Hornets are two teams being the worst in the NBA that I am going to need to make some moves for as they have yet to really make any.

When I played the last few minutes of the Pacers game Turner had several blocks on me. I want to finish the year with 7 guys averaging over 10 a game and close to doing it now.

I will have a more updates later on tonight including some trade stuff and more things about my team.

lol Yea you clearly light a fire under him to play well in the 6th man role. I will not bring him back next year as Allen has proven he can fill that role in his limited time. I think in the end its going to work out perfect as J.J helped my team this year transition into a threat to win the east and next year he can move on to another contender.

                  No Sophomore Slump For Fultz

Markelle Fultz was going to be the x factor for the 76ers going into this season as his scoring and athletic playmaking ability was needed. He was good as a 19-year-old rookie last year and so far in his 2nd year he has taken his game to the next level. He is a big reason why the 76ers currently have the best record in the east and he has completed the big 3 along with Simmons and Embiid. He isn’t in the running for the all-star team this year we expect that to change next year. Below we will take a look and you will see how he has improved in all major areas while mainting his rebounding totals

                  Scoring - Up from 12.7 to 15.2

                  Assist - Up from 5.0 to 5.4

                  FG % - Up .416 to .432

                  3 % - Up .346 to .387

                  FT % - Up .58 to .67

                  Turnovers – Down 2.7 to 2.1

                    Major Injury News

The pink elephant in the room for the 76ers have been the fact that the team has been healthy this year. The first major injury has happened and Collin Sexton broke his right leg and will miss 8 to 10 weeks. Collin was having a good rookie year and playing 21 minutes a game. The depth the 76ers has will come in handy as T.J McConnell will now join the rotation and there shouldn't be much of a dropoff.

Sexton wasn't the only one who broke his leg this week as Celtics star PG Kyrie Irving did as well and this comes 1 week after PF Mohamed Bamba broke his left ankle. With the Celtics barley hanging on to the 8th seed and the way the roster is its going to be hard to make a trade and upgrade so they will likely just have to ride it out.

                    Trade Alert

                    Lakers26-19 (5th in West)
The Lakers have been on fire lately and should make the playoffs which needs to happen to make them a desirable FA destination. This is pretty much a straight salary dump and they didn't have to give up Jordan Clarkson who has been playing very well. The first round pick shouldn't be in the lottery and Lin will upgrade the backup PG spot. Alex Len has a player option for 4 million and has been solid this year starting for the Nets. Randal was going to leave as a FA anyway and now more minutes can be given to Kuzma and Nance.

                    Nets (9th in East)
Taking on Deng's contract isn't pretty, but it will come off the books next year. The Nets have been the laughing stock of the NBA and are tied with the Celtics for the 8th playoff spot. The Celtics just lost 2 starters to injuries so the playoffs are a real possibility. Nikola Mirotic was decent, but Randall comes in and gets 30 minutes a game as the starter. If he plays well they can sign him to a extension as no elite FA was coming to Brooklyn anywhere. Zubac is a younger player then Len and under contract cheap for next year. Getting the draft pick will allow for another younger prospect to be brought in something that has been lacking the last few years

Hmm, decent trade for both teams. The Lakers definitely paid a hefty price to move on from Deng, but that's reality -- solid move on Brooklyn's end, though moving Lin has to hurt (dude was not great in his time in LA last go around and certainly was close with Atkinson of the Nets).

Will be interested to see if Randle can thrive ... he's got skills, but can he put it altogether in a new spot?

76ers 2-1-18 Update - Simmons Goes Cold & Another Major Injury

                            Knicks 110 – 98 (Win)
Ben had a off game it ended up not mattering as 8 of 9 guys that played scored in double figures and the 76ers pulled away in the 4th quarter.

                            Mavs 111 –92 (Win)
Rookie of the Year candidate Marvin Bagley’s 13 points and 17 points wasn't enough despite Simmons and Covington both fouling out. Fultz played wonderful with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assist. Ingles also stepped up going 5 for 10 from 3 to finish with 19 points and 8 rebounds.

                            Knicks 115-96 (Win)
Another game with the Knicks saw the same result as the previous week as the 76ers won easily. KP and Doncic was held in check with 19 and 12 points. Once again the depth showed up for the 76ers as Ben had his 3rd straight lackluster game. 8 guys scored 10+ points and the other T.J McConnel had 7 assist

                            Hornets 130 – 116 (Win)
The Hornets are one of the worst teams in the NBA and show no signs of getting any better with no cap space and players to resign. All of the big 3 had over 20 points with Embiid adding 18 rebounds and Ben 11 rebounds and 8 assist. JJ also scored 19 as the offense couldn’t be stopped.

                            Suns 99-96 (Win)
The suns hit a 3 to tie the game with 3 seconds to go and it looked like it was going to overtime. J.J somehow got a wide open look to win the game and nailed the shot at the buzzer. Booker as always carried the way with 19 points and this game showed he needs some scoring help or the Suns could risk losing him this summer. The role players once again stepped up as J.J had 16 points and Ingles had one of his better games of the year with 21 points on 5 of 7 from 3.

                            Warriors 132-105 (Loss)
The champs brought the 76ers back down to reality with a blowout win as Curry and Durant both scored over 34 points. Once again Embiid and Ben didn’t lead the team in scoring as Fultz and J.J both scored 23 points

That was not the story of the game as Joe Ingles broke his right thigh which we didn’t even know was possible. He will be out 4 to 6 weeks the good news is the all star break does come in the middle of that. We aren’t sure how the starting lineup will shake out and several different combinations will be tried. The biggest benefactor of this will likely be Justin Anderson who is in the final year of his contract.

Will be interested to see if Randle can thrive ... he's got skills, but can he put it altogether in a new spot?
This should allow the Lakers to offer a max contract this summer now or at worst be able to if they trade Clarkson. They could easily get that 1st round pick back if they trade Clarkson. I didn't have lin in the rotation as Dinwiddy was the backup PG and was younger and better overall then Lin. I am pulling for the Nets to sneak into the playoffs as I would much rather face them the 1st round then Celtics or a healthy Wizards team.
