It's totally up to you but I personally like longer recaps of the games. By that, I mean like talking about a few highlights of the action, etc. Just a small blurb with the top performers is not high on my list, but it is your dynasty. I'll still look at it from time to time.

You could look at your local newspaper and see how they do it or go to the website of any college team as some examples but maybe not as long as them.

      Just a thought.

I think I'm going to go back to putting a FEW sentences in my game reports. Not a whole lot but maybe just a little more than the headline only setup that I have now.

I didn't mean you, but a good example would be what your local sports writers put in the out-of-town coverage might be better, I think. It gives the readers a little more to "chew" on besides a headline and a couple of stats. Maybe not as much but maybe a paragraph with a few highlights or key moments from the game (or even a picture or two of a key shot). I know that I tend to go a lot overboard, but you should know from your experience with me that I try to practically put the reader in a seat at the stadium or arena.

It was a miracle ending after losing the last four games. Personally, it was the first time that I ever coached in the NCAA tournament. I never got far enough to go to a power conference team, where it's easier to get an at large berth.

Unfortunately, I won't have the luxury of having the 3pt bombers to fall back on. The highest rated 3pt shooter is Jacobson.

The reason why I asked is because I'm a member of the duckpin bowling pro tour and every now and then I travel down for a tournament.

                      2008 Midnight Madness

West Point, NY -- Tonight was the beginning of a new era here at West Point. After a miracle finish in which the team went to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history, the expectations are higher as a crowd that covers 30% of Christl Arena came in to watch the first practice of the new season.

The "bomb squad" is gone and a new kid has come in with high expectations placed on him. The kid is a shooting machine who can put it up from anywhere on the floor. The kid has shown the poise and control of a college senior, much less a true freshman. The kid looks like he could fill the shoes of the just graduated Jerell Brown pretty well. That kid is Gerald Jacobson.

"It's going to take some time but he's could be something special here at the academy." coach Bob Knight stated after practice.

Maybe I can come close in my years here to have more NCAA trips then their number of NIT trips. Man, I wish I had the postseason NIT in the ps2 version. I doubt if the 16-14 team from 2006-2007 would have gone but we'll never know.
