Re: NCAA 2004: Prestige to Challenge

To anyone still interested in this dynasty: I am planning on starting a Madden 2004 franchise journal either tonite or sometime soon. However, I will still do my best to use this dynasty as will. What the hell am I saying? Of course I'm still going to use this dynasty as well. I'm having a lot of fun with it, and UH is pretty interesting at the moment. Last season was 12-1, and now I'm going into my contract year, looking for a NC and conference invite hopefully since the C-USA (at least Houston's schedule) isn't too difficult, except for a few teams.

Basically, this message was to say: if you see a Madden franchise pop up from me, don't worry... because I'll still be doing this one and if one of them is forced to go, it'll most likely be the new one since this is pretty far into the dynasty already.

Anyhoo... I'll get around to the offseason soon (tomorrow probably). Peace...

                        OFFSEASON

                        Major Players Lost
                        FS Jason Nix - Junior
                        DT David Boswell - Senior
                        MLB Jason Mullins - Senior

Jason Mullins - Career at UH Remembered:
                        234 Tackles, 46 sacks, 8 int, 10 FF, 4 FR, 2 def TD

                        Major Recruits
CB Jason Kelly - 5 Stars
OLB Tray Sanders - 5 Stars
SS Brian Rozell - 5 Stars
MLB DeRon Blade - 5 Stars
HB Sherman Holmes - 4 Stars

                        Recruiting Class Rank: 3rd

                        Straight From the Coach
"I'm very excited about these new recruits. The only thing I wish we had done differently was get a solid freshman quarterback in here because we're going to be in trouble next year once Cory Cooper leaves. Aside from that, our defense got even more upgraded and should continue to be feared this next season. The third-ranked incoming class in the nation is a great accomplishment for this school. We are looking forward to next season and the possibility of a National Championship."

                        Another Controversy!?
Following UH's training, there were wide-spread rumors about Casey Barrow's performance in practices. It seems there could possibly be another quarterback controversy brewing in H-town. Will the coach stay with Cory Cooper who was consistent last year? Or will he opt to have them compete and go with whoever shows better results?

DAMMIT! I wanted a new, good quarterback SO bad. Oh well... you know whose been stealing them year after year? Big Sandy... surprisingly enough. They have one QB with a 90 OVR, and another with 91 OVR, and then two freshman QBs. Hopefully Cooper (or Barrow) will have a big year and then I can get a quaterback. We'll see...
