Clinching nothing less than the playoffs, I've decided to simulate the remaining games.

                  Good luck vs. Vick!

QB spy, corner blitzing, and some cover 2 schemes should keep him at bay.

DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS: Atlanta (9-7) at San Francisco (14-2)
Could the 49ers finally make it past the divisional round since their last trip to the Super Bowl?

                        1st Quarter
Atlanta took the field on offense first, and came up with 3 points off a 44-yard Feely FG. The 49ers marched down the field, but their divisional woes appeared to resurface when Seneca Wallace was intercepted at the Falcons two yard line to stop the scoring threat of the Niners.

                        2nd Quarter
The 49ers managed to get on the board with a 27-yard field goal from Jeff Chandler. After forcing a punt from Atlanta, San Francisco's fortune appeared to change. From the 34 of the Falcons, Wallace hit Brandon Lloyd on a slant and Lloyd took off for the touchdown. On the following drive, TJ Duckett fumbled the ball away at the 28, setting up for a quick drive for the Niners that ended with a 6-yard toss to Owens as the Niners found themselves on top 17-3. Michael Vick made it 17-10 before the half with a 62-yard bomb to Peerless Price that caught the defenders out of position.

                        3rd Quarter
Early in the quarter, the 49ers got a brief scare when Seneca Wallace went down with a bruised sternum. They were relieved when they realized he would be able to come back in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Ken Dorsey hit Eric Johnson for a 13-yard touchdown to give the Niners a 24-10 lead. Things got worse for Atlanta when Michael Vick's pass was intercepted by Jason Webster at the Atlanta 26. This led to a 32-yard field goal.

                        4th Quarter
The Falcons got a decent drive together that lasted for nine plays and ended when Vick hit Price again, this time for an 8-yard touchdown as Atlanta drew closer 27-17. With 1:58 left, Barlow put the nail in the coffin with a 2-yard run, but that didn't stop Atlanta from going out with heart. In the waning moments of the game, they made it to the 3 and Vick dropped back and threw a short toss to WR Leonardo Griffin as the clock ran out.
