                  Construction Completed
Construction has been finished on the new 49ers stadium, named "The Goldmine" and is ready for play in the 2005-06 season! San Francisco seems excited to have a new place to play.

                  WR Depth Change?
Rumors are circulating that with the lack of production, Tai Streets may move down to the 4th wide receiver on the depth chart. It would seem that Antonio Freeman would be the second, behind Owens, and then following him would be Brandon Lloyd. We are unable to confirm these rumors at this time but the head coach will probably fill us all in soon.

Construction has been finished on the new 49ers stadium, named "The Goldmine" and is ready for play in the 2005-06 season! San Francisco seems excited to have a new place to play.

                        Training Camp Notes
[*]WR Brandon Lloyd - Has shown improved hands. He will be given a shot at the #2 WR position, with Freeman still third.[*]Rookie CB Drew Jones - Showing more awareness than we had hoped for. Should step in as the number two CB behind Plummer.[*]Rookie DT Thomas Edwards - We've been seeing a good showing of strength and acceleration. This is good as depth will force him to start.[*]Rookie FS Daryl Schaffer - Has a higher vertical than we thought.[*]HB Michael Cooper - Definitely making better cuts on the field.[/list]
                          Local Media Contract
The 49ers have earned a local media contract that will pay them $6.8 million per year for three years.

                          Pre-Season - Simmed
3-1, No major injuries came about. DT Thomas Edwards showed even more improvement.

                          Key NFL Injuries
Fortunately there were few severe injuries during the preseason. No major stars were injured.

2005-06 Season schedule to be released soon!

Now, just because Streets has been demoted to 4th does not mean he won't be an active part of this offense. He will definitely be expected to still perform and contribute when the situation calls for it."
