Yeah I assumed I would probably lose either the Nebraska game or the TCU game when I first made the schedule.. I actually meant to schedule Notre Dame instead of Nebraska because the Irish are a 99/99/99, but I must have forgot to save it.

It's funny I actually thought Todd was going to be the guy but Draft has a Impact Dev trait and Todd is normal, so I am rolling with Draft in hopes he will become the guy, but Todd's Deal Breaker is Playing time so he isn't happy. I am still leading (2) 5* QB recruits.. Both are from Washington so I got to fight off the Huskies and the Ducks as well as big time programs like Texas.

I just played my first game coming off my back to back "Bye" weeks, and it was a scoring feast.. Draft was on fire and Todd even made a appearance in the 4th to lead 5 more scoring drives.

          GAME RECAP
Coming off back to back "Bye Week's, the Boise State Broncos were well rested and it showed as the Offense explodes for 3 early scores as Keilan Bettis scores a hat trick in the 1st Quarter to give BSU the (21-7) lead.. BSU continued to pour it on with 2 more touchdowns in the 2nd Quarter to extend the lead to (35-13) and with less then 20 seconds to play tacks on a 39 yd FG to make it (38-13) at the half.

BYU opened the 2nd half with the ball but settled for a 41 yd FG to make it (38-16) before Draft and Bettis went back to work for TD's #4 and #5 as the Redshirt Junior WR puts his name on 2 more Boise State records with 5 TD's in a game and 293 yds on the day.

Leading (52-16), Coach Miller would insert the 2nd string offense but it didn't matter as Boise State actually produces 5 mor scoring drives including 4 more touchdowns as backup QB D. Todd completes 8/10 (80%) for 143 yds including 2 touchdowns.

BYU would manage to score a late safety but quickly turned the ball over setting up another Gutierrez FG as BSU closed out the game by scoring over 80 points for the 3rd time in Miller's career.

            GAME RECAP
The game started out slow with Boise State taking a (10-3) lead after the 1st Quarter and (27-10) at the half, but the flood gates opened in the 2nd half as BSU scores 6 touchdowns well the Bronco Defense comes up with 3 INT"s against Utah SR QB Mason Mims (79 ovr).

It was a big day for not just Draft and Bettis but also for SR RB Bo Jackson who has a career day rushing the ball 33 times for 255 yds (7.7 avg) well scoring 4 times. RS FR Jermarcus Boykins continues to show case his ability to make plays both as a runner and a receiver as he carries the ball 6 times for 34 yds and a touchdown well also catching the ball 4 times for 26 yds.

Speaking of new targets. Redshirt Freshman Keshaun Butler made his first appearance of the season.. Listed as the #4 WR on the depth chart... Buckner logged 2 rec for 19 yds including his first career TD.

              ROAD WARRIORS!!!
              GAME RECAP
Washington State entered the game (5-2) and appeared to be probably the Broncos biggest challenge left on the schedule besides #3 Oregon but sadly the Cougars struggled to slow down the high scoring Broncos, as Boise State jumps out commanding (21-7) lead in the 1st Quarter and a (35-17) lead at the half.

WSU opened up the 2nd half with a touchdown drive closing the gap to (35-24) but the Broncos respond with a pair of 3rd Quarter touchdowns to extend the lead to (49-24) going into the 4th.. The Cougars would score twice in the 4th sandwiched around another Boise State touchdown as Boise State cruises to the victory.
FINAL SCORE BOISE STATE-56 WASHINGTON STATE-38

              KEY PLAYERS

              INJURY REPORT
Bettis should be fine to return to the field next week, but Boise State did lose 2 key players on Defense.. OLB TJ Bryant will miss next weeks game with a Torn Labrum and SS Rachaad Ray will miss the next 5 weeks with a Ruptured Disk.. Ray joins FS Joey Wayne who was lost for the year with a Torn Pectoral leaving the Broncos a little thin at Safety meaning CB Dominik Calhoun will move to FS to start.

BRONCOS STAY PERFECT IN PAC-12 PLAY!!

                GAME RECAP
Boise State once again dominated the ball on both sides cruising to a Week 10 victory over the Oregon State Beavers to improve to 6-0 in Pac-12 play and 8-1 Overall.

The Offense started slow leading just (7-0) after the 1st Quarter but scoring 17 points in the 2nd Quarter well holding the Beavers to a pair of FG's to take a (24-6) lead into the locker room. BSU then opened up the 2nd half with another touchdown and after a forcing a punt scored again to quickly extend the lead to (38-6)

Still leading (38-6) going into the 4th, BSU would look to play most of the 2nd string on both sides of the ball as backup RB Greg Ard lined up under center in the Wildcat formation multiple times leading a a pair of rushing touchdowns to make it (52-6) midway through the 4th.. Oregon State would finally find the endzone with 5 minutes to play to make it (52-13) and then after forcing BSU to settle for a 37 yd FG, OSU would score again to close out the game making to at least end on a high note.

Oregon State SR QB Tramell Jones Jr (82 Ovr) ended the game 22/38 (57%) throwing for 246 yds with 1 TD and 1 INT passing and added 37 yds and 1 TD on th ground. SR RB D'Shaun Ford had 18 carries for 71 yds (3.9 avg) but also turned the ball over with a fumble.

RECORDS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN!!
                    GAME RECAP
It's been 3 years since Boise State and Fresno State have played for the Milk Can and today's game would be the first time Matt Miller has faced the Bulldogs as the Boise State Head Coach, and Miller made a point to make a huge statement with today's game.

Once considered the Top-2 elite programs in the G-5 programs, Miller wanted to make sure the nation doesn't just see Boise State as a G-5 power but as a National Power.. One would think that 5 straight trips to the CFP and a National Championship would do that but let's be honest.. People still don't see Boise State in the same light as Texas, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida, even Oklahoma despite the Broncos beating all of those teams..

Today's game was to show the nation that BSU and Fresno State can no longer be talked about as one in the same. Boise State football as evolved and transcended to a elite status.

BSU jumped out to a early (24-3) lead as Tua Draft and Keilan Bettis start what would become a historical game finishing the 1st Quarter with a hat trick connecting on 3 touchdowns including a pair of 50 yd scores..

Big plays didn't stop there, as Boise State explodes for 7 more touchdowns in the 2nd Quarter alone including a 80 yd TD run by Bo Jackson his longest of his career and a 89 yd bomb from Draft to Ezekiel Fogg.. Bettis and Draft were not done either though as the duo hooks up for another score as Bettis goes into the locker room with 4 touchdowns and Boise State leading (59-17).

You would think that with such a big lead Coach Miller would insert his 2nd string offense especially after Draft throws a pair of INT's giving him 3 on the day matching his entire season total... But Miller stuck with Draft and Draft stuck with Bettis as the duo hooks up for another pair of touchdowns giving Draft a new school record 8 TD's in the game and Bettis a new school record of 6 in a game.

Now leading (76-17) going into the 4th, one would think the 2nd string offense might take over but instead it was the Boise State rushing attack as Jackson breaks off another 40+ yd touchdown run followed by a 28 yd run giving the SR RB a career high 4 TD's on the day and 221 yds on just 15 carries (14.7 avg).

Jackson's 2 touchdowns were not the only scores of the 4th Quarter though as backup RB G. Ard adds a 10 yd score out of the Wildcat late in the 4th for the Broncos final score of the day.

FINAL SCORE BOISE STATE-97 FRESNO STATE-17

                    RECRUITING

The Broncos win helped Boise State secure it's first commitment of the 2029 Class and it was a good one, as 5* RB Brian Crum has signed.. Crum is the #1 RB in this year's Class and the #5 Overall player. Listed at 5'11 215lbs, Crum has the makings of a every down RB. He is the Utah Gatorade POY (#1 UT) and had scholarship offers from Texas, Notre Dame, Michigan, Oregon and Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and LSU.

                    Coach Miller
"We have had alot of amazing RB's that have come and played on "The Blue". and Sire Gaines has set a very high bar for what type of stats a RB in our system can do, but I believe Clum has the ability to be something special..

With the win Boise State jumps 4 spots in the rankings to #6 as several teams in the Top-10 fall this week including Boise State's next opponent.. The BSU vs Oregon matchup still has alot on the line for the Broncos and for Oregon as the Ducks now have 2 loss's after falling to Colorado in this week (34-20) dropping to 12 in the rankings.

For BSU it's another chance to make a huge statement as they look to secure yet another Pac-12 North Division and the chance to play for another Pac-12 Championship.. It also would help BSU make that final push toward a Top-4 spot in the rankings and a 1st Round "Bye"

For Oregon another loss would pretty much end any hopes of the playoffs for the Ducks and 1st Year HC Danny Boyd whose career might be short lived in Eugene if he can't showcase his ability to keep Oregon among the nation's elite both on the field and off.

                      rBRONCOS CLINCH PAC-12 NORTH!!!
                      GAME RECAP
Before the game Boise State honored this year's 23 Seniors, including SR RB Greg Ard, FB/TE Clayton Boswell, WR Ezekiel Fogg, OT Jacob Tracy, OG Chris Rozman, DE's Matt Westry, and Bol Bol as well as MLB Mana Tuioti, CB Dominik Calhoun, and FS Torell Robinson who are have been Broncos their entire 4 year career.

The game started slow with Oregon settling for a 37 yd FG to open the game well Boise State answers with a touchdown drive to take the early (7-3) lead. Oregon opened up the 2nd Quarter scoring with a touchdown to take a (10-7) lead but that would be the last time they had it as Boise State closes out the 2nd Quarter with 21 unanswered points as Draft finds Fogg (53 yds) and Bettis (60 yds) on scoring bombs. SR RB Bobby Jackson also showed off his big play ability with a 37 yd touchdown run as the Broncos go into the locker room up (28-10).

Draft and Bettis would connect on another touchdown to close out a 9 play drive to start the 2nd half extending the lead to (35-10).. Oregon answered with a touchdown of their own to make it (35-17) but Draft and Fogg hookup again on another big play (42 yds) as BSU extends the lead back to a 3 score lead (42-17) going into the 4th.

Draft already with 5 touchdowns on the day and over 400 yds passing would struggle in the 4th Quarter throwing a pair of INT's that lead to Oregon closing the gap to (42-31) early in the 4th Quarter.

With the passing game all of sudden struggling, Miller would switch things up going to the ground game as Jackson scores his 2nd touchdown of the game. Oregon answers back with their 3rd score in the 4th to make it (49-38) but BSU answers back again as Jackson earns the "Hat Trick" with his 3rd rushing touchdown to make it (56-38) with 2:48 to play in the game... After struggling with 3 INT's of his own in the game, Duck QB RS SO Santiago Vargas once again steps up leading a 4 play drive as Oregon finds the endzone for a 4th time outscoring their previous 3 Quarters of play as they cut the lead to (56-45).

Armed with just 1 timeout, Oregon had no choice but to attempt the outside kick but the Broncos recovered. Despite the 11 point lead BSU still would run their offense with looking to take valuable time off the clock as Jackson goes over 100 yds rushing on the day and with 28 seconds to play Draft keeping the ball himself dives in for what would be his first rushing touchdown of the season.
                      FINAL SCORE BOISE STATE-65 OREGON-45

                      KEY PLAYERS

Draft finished 32/52 (61%) for 497 yds to go with the 5 TD's and 2 INT and 1 rushing TD

Jackson had 27 carries for 136 yds to go with his 3 TD's.

Bettis led the team with 11 rec for 218 yds and 2 TD well Fogg had 9 rec for 148 yds and 2 TD.

Boykins added 40 yds on 3 receptions, well TE Corbin Laisure had 3 rec for 30 yds.

Backup TE Kellan Ford and a 4 yd TD for the Draft's first touchdown.

CB's Chris Holmes had 1 of the 3 INT's in the game.. For Holmes it was his 3rd straight game with a INT. The former N. Illinois/Marshall transfer now leads the team with 5 INT.

Boise State wins the Pac-12 North title with the win and will have a chance to play for a 3rd straight Pac-12 Championship. The Broncos also moved up to #4 in the CFB Rankings going into Week 13 and are now projected to secure a Top-4 seed.

                      RECRUITING
Well Boise State once again won big on the field, Miller and the Broncos took a major hit in the Recruiting Department this week with 8 players coming off the Top-25 Big Board including a pair of 5* Recruits and 4* OG Danny St John the Idaho Gatorade POY..

St. John (#39 Overall/#1 ID/#2 OG) signed with Oregon despite Boise State defeating the Ducks as did 4* DT J.T. Calloway (#132 Overall/#3 AZ/#8 DT).

4* OT Aleon Pappoe (#99 Overall/#5 WA/#10 OT) and 4* DT Tyler Ahlers (#61 Overall/#1 AZ/#5 DT) becomes the 4th player and 5th player BSU has lost to Arizona State turning the 2 schools into recruiting rivals. Losing Ahlers makes sense because he was Arizona's Gatorade POY but BSU led on Pappoe almost all season.

4* DE Robbin Schilens (#178 Overall)/#4 VA/#17 DE) and 5* DE Tony McCarthy (#23 Overall/#3 OH/#3 DE) were both projected as potential Day 1 starters next season for Boise State.. Neither player has actually officially signed with a school but McCarthy cut his list down to 2 Final schools (Notre Dame and Michigan) well Schilens still has a Top-3 of Clemson, Maryland and LSU.

4* MLB Jason Brady (#67 Overall/#7 TX/#9 MLB is staying close to home as he signs with Texas.

5* OT DeAndre Tull (#14 Overall/#2 CA/#3 OT) is head across country leaving San Bernadino CA for Clemson.

Boise State has 21 players left on the current Big Board led by QB Thomas Harris but Harris has a Week 13 visit scheduled in Eugene and has cut his list to just 2 schools the Ducks and Broncos.

WEEK 13 AROUND THE NATION UPDATE
                        TOP-25 RANKINGS AND BIG GAMES

Only 3 undefeated teams remain in the Top-25 going into Week 13 as most team's will play their final regular season game of the season well a few schools will advance to a Bowl game well just 12 teams will have a chance to extend their season multiple weeks in the College Football Playoffs.

#1 (10-1) Georgia will close out it's season against instate rival #14 (9-2) Georgia Tech. For the Bulldogs a win sends them in the SEC Championship with hopes of keeping the #1 Overall seed going into the playoffs. For the Yellowjackets a win over the #1 team in the nation is the final piece to their resume as they look to make a final push into the Top-12 and a spot for the chance to play for a National Title.

#2 (11-0) Oklahoma will put it's undefeated season on the line and Top-4 seed going into the Big 12 Championship with a matchup with Tulsa. The Golden Hurricanes are just (4-7) on the season and have no shot at a Bowl game so for Tulsa there is no bigger game on the schedule then this week's matchup with the Sooners.

#3 (10-1) Clemson will put it's Top-4 seed on the line against #16 (9-2) South Carolina. Like Georgia/G.T.) Clemson is looking to go into the SEC Championship matchup against Georgia as #1 vs #2 with the Championship also being about who gets the #1 seed, but for South Carolina they are in the same boat as G.T. as they need a victory to propel them potentially into a Top-12 spot.

#4 (10-1) Boise State. The Broncos have secured a Top-4 seed twice in their 5 year playoff span including last year when Boise State went on to win the National Championship. Can they finish with a 9 game winning streak picking up a big road win @ Colorado? We think so.

#5 (11-0) UCLA. The Bruins have secured a spot in the Pac-12 title game against the Broncos but if UCLA wants to finish a perfect 12-0 they will have to beat crosstown rival (8-3) USC to do it. The Trojans got no shot at a playoff berth so for them beating the Bruins would be the next best thing to a National Championship.

#6 (10-1) Ohio State.. The Buckeyes still have a shot at a Top-4 seed. The problem is OSU is 0-3 the past 3 years against their hated rival #21 (8-3) Michigan. Like USC the Wolverines have not shot at a playoff, they would love to make it 4-0 against the Buckeyes and play spoiler.

#7 (9-2) Miami FL.. The Hurricanes are considered the best 9-2 team in the country.. They will look for win #10 against West Virginia.

#8 (9-2) Notre Dame were ranked #4 coming into this week but a (31-28) loss to #13 Penn State sent the Irish packing.. They will look to rebound with a non-conference win @ Stanford before most likely playing Ohio State for what could still be a potential Top-4 seed depending on how things play out.

#9 (9-2) Alabama, like Notre Dame was #5 going into Week 12 but a Week 12 loss to #1 Georgia sent the Tide rolling as the Bulldogs secure a spot in the SEC Championship, leaving Alabama now just playing for a chance to host a 1st Round Playoff game as they take on #20 (8-3) Auburn in a massive rivalry matchup.

#10 (9-2) Penn State.. The Nittany Lions win over Notre Dame still gives them a solid shot at making the playoffs but they will have to beat instate rival #13 (9-2) Pitt who is looking to secure their spot in the playoffs as well

#11 (9-2) Arizona State.. The Sun Devils have no chance to play in the Pac-12 Championship, so at this point they are just hoping to beat instate rival Arizona and hopefully hold onto a Top-12 spot in the rankings and earn a shot at the playoffs.

12 (9-2) Texas.. The Longhorns will close out their season looking for win #10 against (9-2) Baylor.. The Bears are looking to do the same.. The Big 12 South Division is on the line as well with the winner advance to play Oklahoma who holds a tiebreaker over #19 (10-1) UTSA in the Big 12 Championship.

                        #13 (9-2) Pitt and #14 (9-2) G.T. #16 (9-2) South Carolina "See Above"

#15 (8-3) Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are the highest ranked 3 loss team in the country.. They will look to close out their year against Iowa.

#17 (11-0) Southern Miss.. The Eagles once again have a shot at finishing the regular season with a perfect record and also like last year have a very slim chance at a playoff spot.. Hopefully win 12 against Old Dominion as well as A CUSA title can be enough to push them into the Top-12 this year.

#18 (8-3) Duke. The Blue Devils are the highest ranked ACC team but that doesn't mean a team from the ACC will make the playoff's this year.

#19 (10-1) UTSA.. The Road Runners are having their best season in school history.. They will take on 24 (8-3) Oklahoma State to close out the year but sadly it doesn't look like this potential 11 win team will make the playoffs.

**Oregon dropped to #25 after their loss to Boise State.... Now (8-3) Oregon will close out it's season against (7-4) Washington.

BRONCOS MAKE IT 9 IN A ROW!!!
                          GAME RECAP
The Boise State Broncos closed out their season with another blowout win in Boulder defeating the Buffalo's (55-14) for their 9th straight win to finish the regular season (11-1) Overall and another perfect season in Pac-12 play going (9-0).

Despite the graduation of QB Tavien St Clair and RB Sire Gaines the Boise State Broncos didn't miss a beat on Offense as RS SO QB Tua Draft becomes the greatest lefty QB to play at Boise State since Kellen Moore.. The Spokane Washington native has already cemented himself in the Boise State records books and the Pac-12 record books with the most TD's in a season as well as setting new Boise State records for Passing Yards and Touchdowns in a game. He is also on pace to potentially break St Clair's season yard total as well as Moore's career Passing Yards record.

Well Bo Jackson didn't erase any of Gaines records, he did have a historic season with 1503 yds rushing (5.9 avg) and 21 TD's, including a 29 carry 123 yd 3 TD performance in the Broncos Week 13 win. Those #'s that can still grow with the Pac-12 Championship and playoffs in the future. Jackson originally a Ohio State transfer found success at San Jose State in 2026 but making the move to Boise and playing his final 2 seasons producing over 2000 yds and almost 30 TD's the past 2 seasons should earn him a roster spot on Sunday's.

SR Ezekiel Fogg (5 rec 102 yds) and JR Keilan Bettis (5 rec 102 yds 1 TD) have become the most dynamic duo of WR's in college football this season. In 2027 the duo battle each other as they broke Boise State records with Fogg finishing with 101 receptions for 1364 yds and 12 TD and Bettis finishing with 104 receptions for 1279 yds and 17 TD's.

Then with Fogg injured in part of the 2028 season, Bettis had a breakout year exploding for 128 receptions for 1808 yds and 21 TD's as he went on to win the Fred Biletnikoff Award and finishing 5th in the Heisman voting.

Now with Fogg back fully healthy the duo has combined for a season that put's them in the history books once again and like Jackson and Draft these #'s still will grow as they currently have taken over the Heisman talk currently ranked #1 and #2.

Fogg once again has triple digit receptions with 101 for 1637 yds and 17 TD's but Bettis just 7 receptions behind with (94) has done more gaining 34 more yards for (1671) and has scored 5 more touchdowns (22) becoming the All-time record holder with 61 TD's in just 3 seasons.

With their 55 points in their win over Colorado, BSU finishes the regular season with a nation leading 61.7 PPG average (Clemson is #2 at 47.8, Ole Miss is #3 at 43.3 and Southern Miss is #4 at 40.1). The Broncos 7977 yds of Offense is almost 1800 yds more then Clemson who ranks 2 with 6138.

Well the Boise State Offense has been amazing we can't discount the Defense. The Bronco D is giving up just 27 PPG and currently is tied for USC for the most sacks in the Pac-12 with 31 and currently is #2 in INT's with 16 and #2 in total turnovers (INT+Fumbles) with 24.

WEEK 13 RESULTS CHANGE THE PICTURE.

The Top-4 spots in the rankings didn't really chance much other the Clemson swapping spots with Oklahoma at #2 and #3 as Georgia defeats G.T. (41-21) to keep the #1 spot going into the SEC Championship setting up a matchup of #1 vs #2 before the playoffs even start.

#5 (11-0) UCLA saw their perfect season come to a end as they lose to USC (38-35).. The Bruins drop to #9 in the rankings and will look to rebound against #4 Boise State in the Pac-12 Championship.

#6 Ohio State was upset by Michigan as Coach Lanning fails to break the 0-3 losing record.. The Buckeyes now (10-2) drop to #10 in the rankings.. Michigan on the other hand give themselves a outside shot at the playoffs moving up to #14 going into Championship week.

#9 Alabama is watching their playoff dreams slip away as the Tide fall (35-31) to Auburn in the Iron Bowl. The Tide drop to #11 with the loss well the Tigers jump from #20 to #15 giving them a little bit of hope that things get crazy in Championship Week.

12 Texas watched their playoff hopes completely vanish as they fall (31-10) to previously unranked Baylor.. The Longhorns fall all the way to 24 with the loss and also are out of the Big 12 Championship as Baylor now ranked #15 at (10-2) will take on Oklahoma for a chance at making history.

#15 Nebraska defeated Iowa (31-21) to close out their year with a (9-3) record climbing to #13 in the process giving them a long shot chance at making the playoffs despite 3 loss's.

#17 Southern Miss closed out their season undefeated moving to (12-0) joining Oklahoma as the only teams with a perfect record. With their win the Golden Eagles are now ranked 12 and are projected to make the playoffs should they secure their 4th straight CUSA title.

                              CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK
Once again Championship Week will play a huge role in deciding the 12 teams that will compete for a chance at the National Championship as 9 teams currently ranked in the Top-13 square off.

The CUSA Championship will feature one of those teams. 12 (12-0) Southern Miss has lost just 3 games in the past 3 year's but have yet to make the playoffs. A win over (9-3) Memphis and a 3rd straight CUSA title could finally be the resume builder they need to get a shot at becoming a Cinderella story.

The Pac-12 Championship will feature #4 (11-1) Boise State vs #9 (11-1) UCLA. For BSU it's a chance to earn a Top-4 seed and win their 3rd straight Pac-12 title. For UCLA, it's the Bruins first trip to the the Championship since 1998, if the Bruins can pull off a upset they not only would add a 18th title but also likely earn at least the ability to host the a 1st round playoff game.

Baylor's win over Texas in Week 13 sends the Bears to the Big 12 Championship for the first time since 2021 . Ranked #25 Baylor probably won't make the playoffs even with a win but they could play spoiler to #3 Oklahoma who is the only other undefeated team left in the country besides Southern Miss. For the Sooners a victory not only give them another Big 12 title but would also secure a Top-4 seed most likely as the #2 seed.

The SEC Championship will feature #1 Georgia vs #2 Clemson. These 2 didn't meet in the regular season but they are no strangers to each other as these 2 programs have faced each other almost 70 times with Georgia having won 44 of them including the last 3 meetings.

Nebraska's win over Iowa and Ohio State's loss to Michigan completely changed the Big Ten Championship matchup as the Cornhuskers will now face #6 Penn State for the title. For Nebraska a spot in the playoffs is on the line well Penn State would be looking to secure a Top-4 seed and 1st Round Bye with the victory. Nebraska made the playoffs in 2027 as the 8 seed and made it all the way to the title game before losing to Texas. (38-22) in a all Big 12 matchup.

Since the rebuilding of the Pac-12, the ACC has sorta become the step child of the Power 5 despite sending Duke to the National Championship in 2025 as the #5 seed.. Duke will play in the ACC Championship for the 3rd time in the past 5 years, but as the #16 seed they likely would not make the title game even with a in. For #7 Miami a win could maybe help them jump to #4 securing a Top-4 seed but most likely the Hurricanes at this point are just playing for a chance to host a 1st round matchup.

The American Championship will feature 2 Florida rivals as (9-3) FIU will face off against (10-2) FAU. For the Panthers it's a 2nd straight trip to the Championship game but this time they are led by 1st Year HC "Eddie George".. Can George lead the Panthers to back to back titles over their in state rival.

Since Boise State and Fresno State departed the Mountain West for the Pac-12,, New Mexico has played in 3 Mountain West Championship games., as the (9-3) Lobo's took to win their first title against (9-3) San Jose State.

The Mac Championship will feature (2) teams looking for win #10 as (9-3) Eastern Michigan squares off against (9-3) Ball State.. This marks the 3rd time in 5 seasons that the Cardinals are playing in the Championship.

(9-3) Louisiana and (10-2) Arkansas State go into the Sun Belt Championship unranked but both teams have had great seasons. The Ragin Cajuns lost the regular season matchup 40-7.. Both teams are riding 5 game winning streaks going into the game.

                                GAME RECAP

Boise State showed off it's high scoring potent offense on the opening play as QB Tua Draft finds JR WR Keilan Bettis on a play action pass for a 81 yd score to make it (7-0) in the opening seconds of the game. The rest of the 1st Quarter however belonged to the UCLA Bruins.. QB Austin Carlisle ties the game (7-7) with 6:51 to play and then with 3:21 UCLA takes the lead (14-7) as John Alford caps a 9 play drive with a 1 yd run.. Then after a quick 3-0 out UCLA takes over and Carlisle throws his 1st TD of the game finding Jaden House from 26 yds out to make it (21-7).

Boise State would battle back in the 2nd Quarter however as they scored 21 unanswered. First it was Draft to Bettis for TD #2 (14 yds) to make it (21-14). Then 2 minutes later Draft finds Ezekiel Fogg on a 43 yd bomb to tie the game (21-21) and then with 1:40 to play in the half Draft finds backup TE Kellan Ford on a 15 yd score to give the Broncos the 1st half lead (28-21).

UCLA would hold BSU to a opening drive FG (41 yds) to make it (31-21) but the Bruins were forced to do the same setting for a 26 yd FG to make it (31-24) Then it was Diego Gutierrez again connecting on a 23 yd FG to make it (34-24) going into the 4th.

UCLA would make it a 3 point game early in the 4th as Louis Vedvik scores on a 9 yd run to make it (34-31) but Boise State extends their lead yet again as Jermarcus Boykins scores on a 3 yd run to make it (41-31) with 5:07 to play. The Bruins were not going down without a fight though as Vedvik scores again this time from 17 yds out to make it (41-38) with 3:12 to play.

Coach Miller would run the 3 minute Offense to perfection.. The Bruins got BSU to a 4th and 1, but Draft converts a shot pass to Bettis for the 1st Down extending the drive as UCLA is forced to burn all 3 of their timeouts with just over a minute to play. Out of timeouts their was nothing UCLA could do but that didn't stop Miller from putting it out of reach as Redshirt Freshman Tyler Fry punches in a 2 yd touchdown as time expires.
