    AROUND THE NATION

    GATORS QB TYLER MURPHY

    STOMPED AT THE SWAMP
    Gainesville, Florida -
And then there were none. Florida upset Florida State last night to knock off the last undefeated team in all of NCAA FBS football. Florida State was ranked number one in the coaches poll as well as the BCS rankings. Their loss will likely drop them out of the top five in both.

Florida’s Tyler Murphy was the star of the game for the Gators, passing for 184 yards and two touchdowns while running for an additional 80 yards in the win.

Jameis Winston struggled once again, completing just 10 of 29 passes for 166 yards. Winston threw two touchdown passes but also had a pair of passes intercepted. Florida held the Seminoles rushing attack to under 100 total yards.

The Gators must have watched Idaho’s near win over FSU as they used a similar run heavy offense, running the ball 57 times for 200 yards and having Murphy throw just 24 passes.

Florida State will face off against Virginia Tech for the ACC Championship.

Florida is now 8-4 overall and will await a bowl invite

        VANDALS RECRUITING REPORT
Vandals Shock Nation, Land “Killer Bs”

REGGIE BECK SHOCKED THE NATION BY SIGNING WITH IDAHO

        REGGIE BECK
        6-0 197
        ATH #18
        Lompoc, CA
        Lompoc High School

        Scouting Report
Beck can play nearly any position on the football field. Was primarily a QB/RB as a junior and senior. Has speed, agility, acceleration. Can run through tacklers or make them miss. Decent arm and accuracy as a passer. Should be one of Idaho’s best players as soon as he steps on the field.
        Coach's Comments
“The first time I ever talked to Reggie I told him I wanted to be my Reggie Bush. That’s exactly the expectation we have for him here. We’re elated to have landed him.” Wade Wilkerson Jr.

        ===

        EDDIE BATES
        5-11 195
        QB #12
        Thousand Oaks, CA
        Thousand Oaks High School

        Scouting Report
Bates is a great running quarterback with a cannon arm. Needs to improve his accuracy. Can make a tackler miss or run through weaker ones. Rarely missed a play in high school.
        Coach's Comments
“We love Eddie’s game and we think he will really flourish in our system. We’re very excited by this signing. We see Eddie and Reggie (Beck) as the future of Idaho football. The beginning of greatness.” Wade Wilkerson Jr.

Haha...Reggie Beck. Something about that name Reggie we all like on our star RBs.

What are his scouting attributes, (40 time, agility, etc.)?

Id fully scouted him so i dont remember his 40. I dont like to post ratings in my chises but Bates and Beck are both very fast.

really wanted to give Beck #5 but my best player has it

                                Idaho's Chalich Transferring To Montana
                                by Sam Adams, SWX Anchor/Reporter

SWXRightNow.com - University of Idaho quarterback Chad Chalich will transfer to Montana, a reliable and anonymous source has told SWX's Sam Adams. The source says that Chalich informed head coach Wilkerson of his decision last week, and will join the Montana Grizzlies in time for Spring Football.

Chalich was the 5A Idaho player of the year as a junior and senior at Coeur d'Alene High School, where the Vikings won back-to-back 5A state titles. He earned Gatorade state player of the year honors as a senior. Chalich broke 13 school records at Coeur d'Alene, including throwing for 6,485 passing yards and 74 touchdown passes in his prep career.

As a redshirt freshman at Idaho, Chalich started nine games, throwing for over 2,100 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing yards and touchdowns with 758 and 13. Chalich stated that he was uncomfortable with the direction of the offense toward the end of the season and prefers a more pro style attack.

"We wish him the best of luck and that's all I have to say about that." Wilkerson said.

Chalich's departure likely opens the door for freshman Eddie Bates to start immediately.

Chalich will be available to play right away for the Grizz because he is going from an FBS to an FCS program.
