At least you caught the Chac error.

I've seen people use Idaho, call Chalich "Chac" and go several seasons without even thinking that it didn't make sense.

Of course it doesn't matter now because he transferred out IRL, but still.

Holy crap what a comeback! Nice to see your squad competing already bro. Chalic was definitely the hero! You'd be crazy not to start him the rest of the season!

Wow that was a great win for the Vandals! That is the type of win that can catapult your season. Hopefully Chalic can continue his success at Washington State!

Yeah it didn't seem right so I checked into it some and figured it out. I did find a couple dynasties with it listed as Chac for several seasons ha ha

It was a crazy game to play. Losing a lot of guys to injuries, bringing in my backup and basically throwing the ball every play in the second half. Definitely thought it was over quite a few times but we persevered.

Chalich definitely didn't sleep alone after that one.

We definitely hope to build some momentum off that historic comeback.

                  Injuries hit Vandals hard
                  by Zach Woosley September 16, 2013, 9:14am

RUNNINGBACK JAMES BAKER WILL MISS 4-6 WEEKS WITH AN ANKLE SPRAIN

After avoiding injuries entirely through the preseason and the first two games of their season the Vandals have been hit with three huge injuries. All of the injuries occurred in the Saturday's win over Northern Illinois.

Starting runningback James Baker left the game with an apparent ankle injury. Earlier today team medical staff announced that Baker had indeed sprained his left ankle on an awkward cut. He is expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to the injury.

Top receiver Najee Lovett also suffered an ankle injury. Team medical staff are saying it's a hairline lateral malleolus fracture which is a small fracture of the fibula. Lovett likely will not require surgery as the ankle is stable, meaning the broken bone is not out of place or just barely out of place. Lovett will be in a short leg cast for several weeks and is likely going to miss 8-10 weeks.

Receiver Roman Runner also has ankle troubles. The team's medical staff have described it as a severe bimalleolar fracture. Runner will need to have surgery to repair the ankle which will likely end his career at Idaho.

"It's a problem for our football team obviously." Coach Wade Wilkerson Jr. said earlier today. "But it really makes you sick to your stomach thinking about these three kids. They're all seniors and this is probably it for them. Heartbreaking."

Runner may attempt to apply for a medical redshirt but one has never been awarded this late in a season before.

Dezmon Epps and Deon Watson will be the top receivers until Lovett returns. Marquan Major will be asked to step up and the team may burn freshman Jacob Sannon's redshirt if they need more production.

At runningback expect to see Kristoffer Olugbode step into the starting role with Jerrel Brown and fullback Jake Manley getting more touches. Epps could be used in the backfield as well.

Wait, did you go for two to win the game or just kick the extra point? If it was 43-28, you'd have to get 16 points (two TDs, two two-point conversions) to win, right?

Also, forgot to mention, 36-of-60 with 13 drops is pretty dang impressive accuracy, glad you finally found that offensive spark.

Scoring summary is right, some typos/bad math in the write up. thanks, will fix.

It is awful hard to beat NIU with the default Idaho roster. Did you super sim any defense or did you somehow get them to punt that many times in the second half manually!? What the hell were they doing? In fact it's almost impossible to legitimately stop them with any reasonable sliders with that ragtag bunch. great win man.

Jordan Lynch led them to TDs on both of their first two possessions, he got injured and their offense stalled big time.

                              AROUND THE NATION

RAJION NEAL’S TWO TOUCHDOWNS HELPED TENNESSEE UPSET OREGON ON THE ROAD

                              MIAMI BLASTS FLORIDA 32-7
                              Eugene, Oregon -
Without Heisman hopeful QB Marcus Mariota the Ducks struggled to put on their usual offensive clinic as they fell to Tennessee by a score of 37-28 at home. Tennessee was supposed to be a middling team this season while Oregon was one of the favorites to compete for a national title. Tennessee has now won three straight to start their season at 3-0 and should find themselves moving up the rankings after this big win.

Ducks backup quarterback Jeff Lockie struggled, completing just 9 of 28 pass attempts for 115 yards. He threw two interceptions and just one touchdown. DeAnthony Thomas’ 126 yards on the ground wasn’t enough to push Oregon past Tennessee.

For the Volunteers quarterback Justin Worley played slightly better than Lockie, completing 13 of 32 passes for 185 yards. Worley threw one interception and no touchdowns. Tennessee did most of their damage on the ground with Rajion Neal running for a pair of touchdowns and Worley adding one of his own.

“You hate to have this happen, especially at home. We can’t hang our heads, we’ve got to get ready for the next one.” First year Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich explained after the loss.

COUGARS JUNIOR QB CONNOR HALLIDAY LOOKS TO HAVE A BIG DAY AGAINST THE WEAK IDAHO DEFENSE

Receivers Dominique Williams and Vince Mayle shouldn’t have much trouble beating coverages. Safety Deone Bucannon leads the Cougars’ defense.
