    Saw two Matt Ryan great QB moves in a row

    First I thought I had a sack. He moved right to complete pass

    Second I took away a screen and he ran other way for 11 yards

    Testing Run and Gun playbook in Scheme

    Change QB's who are Pocket to Balance on 1st page of edit and Traits

      Yeah,I think the problem and discrepancy may be all the patches were yielding screwy results and by the time the last patch hit in mid summer most gave up by then.

        Missed this comment but you're right. As much as I loved 2k5,I agree with the qb issues because I made community rosters a few years and we had to use alot of drastic ratings edits to get them to play better.

          That’s how bad the CPU QB AI is right now.

          I had a great game just today. Week 1 of my Dolphins CFM. 3-3 at halftime!!!

          Final was 20-15 Dolphins.

          Everything was fantastic, stats, flow, passing game, running game, defense, hard hits, flags.

          Except one thing.

          I sacked Winston 11 times. 11!!!!! All but one were from my AI teammates (6 from Cameron Wake).

          Of those 11 sacks....8 of them were from Winston just sitting there like a statue waiting for vert routes to develop but were all covered.....instead of scrambling of moving out of the tackle box (pocket) and throwing the ball away like I would do....he takes sack, after sack, after sack.

          It really kills the game. It is disgusting. And the worst part of it.....they knew about this on 17 and did absolutely nothing.....nothing about it.

          Shame on me for being a total sucker.

          I actually love the game. It does so many great things. But I am an offline franchise guy with all my sports games. This is a killer flaw......just a killer.

          This was an issue in M17 and they knew it! Heck, Rex has seen the funky CPU QB play, LAST YEAR.
          Tuck & Run worked in last Gen, they actually put alot more into the CPU ability.
          Go play a few games on M25 and you'll see.
          Play vs R.W. Or ANY mobile qb, for that matter.
          It's night & day.
          Let's wait in hope, hmm sounds familiar.

            I believe balanced work the best in 17. Now that there's a "Sim" mode, are the Devs going to help the "Sim" guys?
            I may have to go look at My M17 slider thread b/c we have a ton of game stats and what traits did the best for the QB. Cable Guy knows we put a ton of stats on there.

              i just redownloaded madden 16...good thing i got the digital download. For anyone interested, look up on youtube : madden 2018 rosters updated paranormal gamer

              it seems like he just updated madden 2016 rosters to present day rosters.

              I will dl his rosters and start playing, because as far as i remember m16 gave me football bliss, due to the cpu qb ai.

              for years I wanted to see inaccurate throws and proper qb scrambles....m16 had it in spades. At least we can go back to that if we wanted to

                I couldn't download any community files in M16. I just tried. It just sits at "Loading" at the bottom and doesn't do anything.

                    Just had a test game of Packers (me) against the Seahawks.

                    It has a very different feel from Madden 18 that's for sure. I feel like the pace of play at the snap is better, and pass rush, route progression, and passing windows are better as a result. Zone play is way better and man coverage is way better.

                    I saw a few instances of thestatue QB, but also saw Wilson move a few times, and be decisive relative to pressure. I was able to induce one of those tiptoeing scrambles where the QB tucks but runs slowly for a bit before breaking into an all out sprint.

                    A really interesting thing was that I was able to induce some scrambles by playing man coverage. It seems like I was able to get Wilson to behave mroe decisively, and bail on the play almost from the snap if the man coverage performed well at the start and the pass rush got a good push. On these plays Wilson went straight into a normal run and was quite fast, agile, and decisive.

                    I'm also kind of curious to know if the Madden devs slowed everything down at the snap to allow target passing to work. I can't imagine anyone being able to use it at all with the speed of 16 on "normal."

                    I guess I'll have to keep the game installed and keep experimenting. I was hoping I'd be able to see it exactly like 17 and 18, but it's not the case. It's not great by any means, but now I feel like I'm going to have to install 15 and compare it.

                    Down the rabbit hole.

                        Shows how smooth Russell Wilson is, especially the last play. Don't mind the score. I kept throwing picks because I wanted to see Seattle's offense.

                          Not to slam your video but in my single player online CFM game against Seattle Wilson looked more like Wilson than in this, complete with actual running behind the line of scrimmage to throw and several back breaking scrambles.

                          I wonder if it was a fluke based on what I've seen playing against Goff and Palmer (who gave me some statue sacks, although a couple of plays they moved around a bit), but then again, maybe he is more prone to running due to it being online.

                          I'll know the next time I play Seattle. But if the pocket QBs continue to get statue sacked online but Wilson runs around again, then I will be fairly sure of two things: online single player CFM has slightly better AI than offline, and QB tendency traits probably play a big role in statue sacks.

                            I'm debating on starting my CFM over and going online single player instead.

                              I've tried so many slider variations from default to all over the place. I'm starting to think some of these settings don't even do anything. No matter which set I've used, both the CPU and myself are always over 70% completion.

                                tried qb edits to balance from pocket,something to this, better qb play. I also put all balanced qbs to scramble if 80+ speed. Testing with MVP in our online CFM.
