What kind of sack numbers are you guys seeing? I'm the Browns playing against the Packers and Rodgers is sitting in the pocket taking sacks. JoshC's gameplanning and using Run n Gun playbook for Rodgers.



He sits there looking stupid.

I'm averaging four per game on default All-Pro through about 20 games. I only have tracked stats for a few games on All-Madden but I was probably closer to 6 per game on that.

It basically prompts everyone to follow a bunch of guys but as the reply tweet points out they are all online, competitive Madden gamers. The prominent franchise guys like Moonlight Swami weren't on their list.

Madden is exclusively about online gaming which is why AI is still so bad.

Just played a full game of Madden 16 with the Texans against the Bears and trubisky. The cpu qb ai is NIGHT and DAY compared to madden 18.

1) No qb statue sacks
2) better pocket awareness
3)proper cpu qb throwaways
4) real scrambles for significant yards.

Trubisky scrambled 4 times

First one went to his right for 5 yards after avoiding a sack

2nd one he scrambled to
His left for 7 yards when all was covered.

3rd instance i sent a blitz trubisky tried to rush outside but it was a sack loss of 2 yds.

4th attempt was me in a zone on 3rd and 9 and trubisky went up the middle after all receivers were covered and broke this one for 16 yds.

4 rushes for 26 yards

I finished with 3 sacks, none were statue , trubisky had 3 throwaways at appropriate times.

Like armor sword said, if he plays madden 16 again, he will shelve 18. And its heading that way for me unless the devs pull one out of their hats to restore cpu qb ai like madden 16.

Any classic rosters for madden 16 you guys know of?

Yeah, but the elephant in the room over M16 is the fact that you cannot edit rosters in a CFM

Better CPU Qb play........can't edit ratings.

So, it goes in this order b/c 25 keeps throwing me off lol.

M12, M13, M25, M15, M16, M17, and now M18.
I'm curious about M16, how well the CPU QBs react, T&R, etc.

Sidenote: CPU punting is ON point in M25, it becomes a much tougher game when you have to go 80yds vs 50 or less.

Do you really believe that? Madden 18 is worlds better than 16. There is just ine particular thing Madden 16 does apparently does better (this thread). Note: I can't attest to that since I spent all of madden 16 in an online cfm with 31 other sim players.

I have not played either. But it sounds like QB play is better and I'm sure CFM is not much different.

That's kinda of hard to do for football junkies with this being the only football game and all.

Personally I haven't brought madden in what would be three years, I wait for it to hit EA access.

I believe they are headed in the right direction but some key things still need fixing like the topic of this thread, some keys things still missing like a revamped challenge system better offline cfm.

What sucks is by the time it's close to getting there will get a new dev team and be right back at square one.

Hell, I did it. If I can do it, and a few others can do it, YOU ALL CAN DO IT. Trust me when I say, the only time it was hard was that first year, but after a while it gets a lil easier! I always come back before the game's annual release to see if anything changes. But it's just on wash, rinse, add a softener, repeat. Having no competition to keep them on their toes will do that.

For sure. What got me off Madden was NBA 2k. Not perfect, but the overall immersion and generally stable gameplay made not buying 15 and 16 rather easy. The one good thing I can say is thank god you can now edit players in a CFM. Can you imagine having no way of even begining to fix QB traits?

But yeah, not buying Madden is easy.....don't buy it
