Mistake by USA Today. That's supposed to be Washington, not Wisconsin. Sports betting has been illegal here since 1973.

Playing Manuel and Orton didn't help, but Taylor has shown some ability but he seems apt to spread the ball around.

There's no reasonable justification for the trade, man. And it's not really about how well Evans and Benjamin are doing. You can't trade an extra 1st round pick to move up 4 spots and draft at the deepest position in the class. That's just poor resource management.

OBJ was the 12th pick in the draft. Everyone didn't whiff on him.

Could see some interesting applications of NFL VR, but nothing that'd ever replace my usual Sunday w/ my family anytime soon.

That's ****ty. These clowns at the DFS sites had a really good thing going, loophole and all legislated in, and they've screwed it up.

Nevada, Montana and Louisina are heavily invested in the casino life (I'd think Arizona is similar to Montana... can't speak for Iowa but Washington was already mentioned). Daily fantasy sports is a huge threat to them.

I wouldn't be too worried just yet.

The thing is, I think some of these states that already ban DFS have their own state-run versions going. Everybody just wants a piece.

That's why I wouldn't be too worried yet.

With that said, I'd never leave too much winning on their site anyway. I never plan on betting that much on a weekly basis and it's easy to add money when needed. So when my winnings go up (something I haven't had to worry about so far this year) I just take money out.

I always worry if stuff like DSF is gonna leak its way unto the football field in nefarious ways.

I can already picture a major scandal involving a ref or groups of refs trying to fix games to increase the payout.

This is going down as fast as Ponzi schemes.

What if the same type of scandal happens in the NFL that happened years ago with players at Boston College helping to throw games?

It happened in Italy's Serie A, even players were involved. Juventus was relegated and other teams were punished too.

There was more than 200 UCL matches under investigation of manipulation, but surprisingly, they never talked about the outcome of the investigation. All the big teams ins Europe (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Lyon...) were involved.

Rodney Harrison has called RGIII a jerk. Not sure when these two have ever been in the same room together. RGIII has been quietly bidding his time in DC and yet he is still being attacked in the media. Not sure where this all comes from other than being click bait.

Edit: This isn't to say Griffin isn't a jerk, but more to question how Harrison got there. He isn't a local guy, doesn't live in the area, and has no real ties to the organization so I doubt he has sources. Hell I would venture to say that in my professional dealing I have more sources in the Redskins organization that him. Seems way out of LF to me.

As Razor said this kind of thing ravaged the Italian Serie A and it's even gotten as high up as the FIFA level with qualifying matches for the WC riddled with poor officials. This has happened especially in the African region as FIFA would hire local referees and pay them under the table to rig results.

I hear association football, especially within leagues with FIFA affiliations, is typically rife with this kind of stuff to the point that it's a foregone conclusion and an expectation, even.

But I also hear Juventus was the only team punished for it. Or at least the only one that was punished as harsh as they were.
