Re: NFL Off Topic
I'd trade TNF for an AM Sunday game. The TNF product is sooo sloppy and borderline dangerous. That's like, 2.5 days to prepare instead of the full 5 or so. That's so reckless. But the NFL cares!
Unfortunately, you run 930AM games on Sunday and you're probably losing out on a good percentage of customers on the West Coast. Then again, they're used to settling in at 10AM for NFL Sunday, what's a few extra hours? Heh.Comment

Used to have to set an alarm to get up for the 10am games, as a parent I'm up around when the 6:30am games start though.
I like them, gives the London games their own spotlight, but yeah they're not for everyone.
The only game that feels really out of place for me is the MNF double header opening week and the garbage announcing crew that usually ends up on one of them.Comment

I'm with you, I'd love to see more networks involved because that's the underlying issue (not so much the start time), but realize it will never happen.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
It could happen within 10 years IMO once the old guard owners sell off their teams/pass away. Guys like Dan Snyder and the Jones Family are just itching to do away with the TV revenue sharing. I'd make a comparison but it invokes religion but suffice it to say, the basic TV revenue sharing structure is a sacred cow.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

The NFL makes a killing of the NFL package alone, it's not going anywhere anytime soon.
I have to buy to ensure I can see every Broncos game but I can see Montana State about 4 times a year without buying any sort of College Football package.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Also I would be happy if the NFL would ban Chris Collinsworth from calling anymore games.
Why doesn't every channel do the player introductions like SNF does? I find those to be hilarious sometimes

Re: NFL Off Topic
Sure it makes sense for several teams but not enough of them to invoke any sort of change.
