Re: NFL Off Topic
Seattle starts winning lots. Wins a Super Bowl. Suddenly they have fans everywhere.
Carolina starts winning a lot. Makes a Super Bowl. Suddenly has more fans everywhere.
Remember how suddenly popular the Cowboys became in their day? New England? Etc..
If you can't make sense of all that.. Well.......
Put it this way. When I go to NFL games over here in Wembley, the jerseys I see the most are mainly all New England jerseys and Seattle jerseys.
There are bandwagon fans everywhere. Just because you're not one, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. A saw a guy comment on a Michigan State post on Facebook the other day saying how much they suck right now (Which is true). But his profile showed him wearing an Ohio State hoodie. Before that, a Wisconsin one. Before that, a Michigan St. jersey...Last edited by RJTurneR; 10-16-2016, 07:44 PM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
In news that will make other teams giggle, the Patriots had communications problems at Gillette Stadium.
According to Tom Curran of CSNNE.com, Patriots coordinators Josh McDaniels and Matt Patricia had to signal in plays by hand, when they were unable to use the coach-player communication system during their win over the Bengals.
Of course, other teams have long suspected shenanigans when they go to New England, and for them to have problems at home does carry a bit of irony.
The Patriots apparently have also all but given up on using their Microsoft Surface tablets, as coach Bill Belichick spiked his out of frustration two weeks ago.#RespectTheCultureComment

Lions completed their ultimate goal of making sure fans can't ever forget that Case Keenum was their starting QB. It was all clearly part of the plan to let him break their consecutive completions mark.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

According to Gruden in his post game. He showed the team a video of "illegal" celebrations that were sent to the team by the NFL. That wasn't one of them FWIW.Moderator

Re: NFL Off Topic
At any rate, I think the NFL has gone waaay to far when it comes to the celebrations. Its not like they have had an issue with fights or anything like that.
Funny how it sometimes works out. The NFL is so protective of their image that it is hurting their image.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
It uses the ball as a prop.
The NFL passed a rule to ban dunking the football in celebration, as well as other uses of the ball as a prop. Maybe the NFL should be placing higher priority on other problems.
Illegal since March of 2014, Davis' last TD was September of the same year, article even features a picture of him dunking.
Crappy rule, but everyone knows it.Comment

I seem to remember the Giants doing a fadeaway jumper celebration when they scored but the league cracked down on it. Could be wrong.Comment
