I get what you're saying but I think we're seeing different things here. If that pump fake was an actual throw to Bennett, Burfict would've arrived right as or slightly after Bennett caught it.

I just think people are blowing it out of proportion cause it's Burfict, but is what it is. He's earned his reputation. I'm just gonna leave the Blount incident alone though.

But to completely dismiss the possibility that he bit hard on what was a solid pump fake is asinine.

Nah, didn't tell me, but did personally apologize to Bennett after the game.

He did seem to stumble on the Bennett hit as you can see the grass chunks come up from his own feet.

That said, being Burfict, he has to go out of his way to not do that stuff. Other players might get a pass. He himself knows this, yet the same story. That's the problem. He isn't learning, so he deserves no benefit of the doubt.

          The stomp is indefensible.

More misguided than pretending you know the player's intent and dismissing all possible explanations other than "he dirty, he did it on purpose"?

Have y'all considered that maybe Burfict saw a spider crawling on LaGarrette Blount's leg? It's impossible to tell from the camera angle that we got but it's just as reasonable to think that he reacted out of instinct, rationalizing that cleat marks are far less harmful than a spider bite.

I'm kinda really liking the move the Pack made for Knile Davis.

At least see what he has to offer.

Burfict just got off a suspension for this crap and he's going after knees and stomping on ankles. Time to at least double whatever his recent suspension was?

I like Davis, his issue though was fumbles.

I fine with that as long as he doesnt fumble when he's in for Eddie... Haha

I did feel the same way. To be clear, the way I feel is there is a good argument to keep Prescott in AND a good argument to replace him. The big difference here though is we're talking about weeks 1 through 6 right now.

For another example though, I had a problem with the Bears starting Grossman after a year of overachieving with Orton while he was injured. But I think we can both agree that Romo > Grossman at any point in his career, let alone his 2nd year (I think it was his 2nd year).

But I think this is a better comparison bc the Bears clearly shortened the playbook for Orton, leaned more on running and defense, and though they won more than expected, Grossman was the better play for opening the offense up.

To add my three cents (inflation is a bitch) to the injured player losing their starting position, Dak should be the current starter until he gives you a reason to make it otherwise. However, he would be on a much shorter leash than if he was the chosen starter back in camp.

And you, a Ravens fan, are viewing this with unbiased goggles, right? Give me a break.

Everyone sees what they want to see; no one except Burfict knows the true intention. Y'all can stick to your guilty until proven innocent conviction though. The difference with me is I'm not ready to call it either; it very well could have been a dirty hit because he could be THAT stupid. At the same time, I'd like to believe that he knows he's under a microscope, isn't THAT stupid, and made a bad read.

But you can keep your pitchforks out and call me the biased one, lol. You clearly only want to see it one way.
