Ever since Henne had started the Jags have played much better. The Browns have been competitive all season and are finally winning a few. I would watch those games. -
Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Given the Jags recent 1st round draft history it may not even matter. Though Blackmon has shown signs of turning the corner the past few weeks.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
I was actually trying to do just the opposite. Just wanted to avoid the discussion about whether it was purposeful or not, which has already been discussed somewhat on here. Didn't want the question to devolve down to that, which is why I went with the fact that the NFL couldn't prove Suh's intent or else he would have been suspended just like last year. However it is clear they are taking his past into account with the fine. Just using their ruling, not my own opinion.
If you still do not believe that the question should be discussed, then that is fine and we can move away from this discourse.
I think it's better to say what you did in this post... his past was definitely taken into consideration when they decided to fine him.Comment

Are you ready for the most asinine article written about the NFL since "White Mike Vick"? Here you go!

I'll not go any further than that because I'd definitely be breaking all types of ToS.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Henne has indeed played great for the Jags. I suspect that Gabbert may have lost his starting job. So that's one reason to want to watch the game besides, as a fan of the Bills I feel i'm obligated to be a masochist LOLMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Either way, the Bills know Chad Henne. Henne's streak of looking good will end this week. If Gene Smith is gone after the season, Gabbert is too (and so might be Mike Mularkey, even though it's pretty unfair to him). Another "franchise" QB gone after Mark Brunell. Byron Leftwich, David Garrard, Blaine Gabbert... guh. Who's next? A terrible Matt Barkley? A flash in the pan Geno Smith? A fraud in Logan Thomas?
I'm not an optimistic fan right now (but I'm sure I'll talk myself into it next year).Last edited by The GIGGAS; 11-30-2012, 05:38 PM.Rose City 'Til I Die

Can't believe Watt got fined 15k for his hit on Stafford which wasn't even flagged, and thug repeat offender Suh got 30k for his nutshot.Comment

Henne has played well for the Jags recently. He was the reason we lost to the Raiders, and he looked [charles barkley]TUUUUUURIBLE[/charles barkley] in the preseason.

I don't really care for Smith or Barkley. I would rather we work on the defense early and then maybe pick up a QB in the mid to later rounds. I get the feeling Henne will play well enough to start next season. Given Henne's past it is indeed concerning, but if he comes out and throws say 3 TD's and we beat Buffalo would you feel a lil better about him?Jacksonville Jaguars

Does this mean I won't be able to watch the game via NFL Sunday ticket? note I don't live in the Buffalo or Jacksonville area. Guess Redzone channel would be better than nothingJacksonville Jaguars

That, of course, is why we'll get stuck with a Geno Smith and have to live through football hell for a few more years longer. I just wish I could figure out how I can get off of the **** list of the Gods.Rose City 'Til I Die

I think you are okay with having Sunday Ticket. Blackouts only affect (or effect) the local media market.Moderator

Blackouts only deal in the home market. You'll be able to watch it on NFL Sunday Ticket, just like I will.Rose City 'Til I Die
