In an interview with ESPN's Adam Schefter which will air tomorrow afternoon, former Panthers and Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy says: "I never put my hand on any woman."

Should've posted the whole transcript just to see the spin job he was trying to put on it.

Not sure why his people even allowed him to do an interview or even speak about this issue.

It's not like he has anything to lose at this point.

Seems like Twitter has won the rights to stream TNF.

Edit: Goodell just tweeted about it so seems like it is official.

I think that's a great pair. Twitter is in a weird place as a company, and I think this a perfect step in the right direction. Get mad money from advertisers (which I read is why Facebook dropped out, citing that they didn't want ads) and keep both the game and conversation on the platform.

Their Periscope stuff is pretty cool and they'll be having pregame stuff on that.

              Games will be free. Yessir.

It's funny because they weren't ever really mentioned to be in the bidding. I'm just glad it wasn't Verizon, which seems like it would have limited things.

You don't think? He wouldn't be the first player with talent to continue playing at a high level, but teams pass on because of the circus around him.

Twitter streaming the NFL? Well, I could actually see that being a bonanza in some ways. I can definitely imagine people watching and instantly tweeting like crazy. Whatever game is being shown would definitely be #1 as a trending topic that night.

Speaking of Twitter and Hardy, Steve Smith made it known that he thinks his former teammate is full of it.

Current free agent DE Greg Hardy is not doing himself any favors these days. After being given a shot at redemption by the Dallas Cowboys in 2015, he would squander the opportunity with defiant sideline behavior and reportedly divisive locker room character. Now a…

                              I see.

I would think he'd be better off coming clean and showing some kind of remorse, but I guess neither way is a sure thing (see Ray Rice... though Hardy is more of a sure thing talent-wise at this point) so I guess sticking to his guns (pun intended) isn't the worse idea.

I think Hardy sealed his "retirement" with that Shefter interview. I actually think he was done in the league after his sideline fiasco in NY when he attacked a coach and was ready to attack Broken Foot Dez Bryant. The man is just too unhinged to take a chance on. Has shown absolutely no remorse or self control since the fallout.

Most people deserve a second chance, maybe even a third. But if even Jerry Jones has given up on you, then you know there's a problem there. Jerry doesn't give up on rehab cases easily.
