Re: NFL Off Topic
There are nearly 9 million people in the 9 counties around the San Francisco Bay Area.
I get that the stadium is a dump, but I have no idea why the Raiders would leave that region with that large of a potential revenue stream.
The Vegas metro area has roughly 2 million people. They can boast 40 million tourists a year, but they're there to gamble. How many will want to spend 4 hours of their Sunday at a football game?
This is like the Sonics leaving for OKC. Long-term, it's just a moronic decision.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Well a lot of the football fans in the area are 49ers fans.
Plus they get competition now from the Warriors and Giants, who are not good this year but have a great stadium.
On top of that, there are a lot of other entertainment options here so people aren't only spending money on sporting events.
In fact like a lot of areas, younger people aren't as into sports and NFL has a hard time getting people to attend games because they've priced out a lot of people, not just with ticket prices but parking and concessions.
It also doesn't help that watching games on TV is a pretty good experience, with Red Zone and the ability to have your iPad or laptop at hand to check your FF.
A city like LV or San Antonio which has never had the NFL might have greater interest from fans in attending, at least for a couple of years.Comment

"Odell fined $36,000 for blindside crack block away from play versus Saints Kenny Vaccaro, very little wiggle room now for any UR today"
A few tweets suggesting the next time he does something stupid like this he'll be suspended.

Don't know what your thoughts on hypnosis are, but apparently some Bengals players got hypnotized during training camp:

Well, Trevor Siemian....
Will be happy to admit I was wrong if he keep playing this well

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
