I'm so sick of this logic with Cutler. No QB is not the biggest problem with the Bears right now, but even when it was they didn't address it. Just because it's not the biggest problem on the team doesn't mean it doesn't need to be fixed, especially when they "fix" every other damn problem on the team. Brandon Marshall wasn't the biggest problem on the team and why they suck, how'd that go? Martellus Bennett wasn't the biggest problem for this team, they sure handled that quickly though didn't they? Forte? Gould? Hester? Briggs? Olsen?

They could have drafted Prescott but this sorry *** franchise refuses to even draft QBs to try to groom while people keep saying stuff like what you just posted.

I never liked, understood, or believed in this.

So if my backup is shining and clearly out playing the starter, he should go back to the bench? I don't get the logic in that.

You don't have to tell me this, lol. I'm just telling it like it is. This team's ownership is a damn joke, so how are we supposed to expect them to develop a quarterback anyway? You really think Prescott would be what he is if he was brought into this operation? I don't.

If we want to discuss this further it's probably best to move it over to the Bears thread where the tumbleweeds hang out.

This. The majority of Romo's injuries have all been shoulder/neck/back related. Add onto that the surgerys his had to fix those. It's just not worth it.

I honestly think he's a complete idiot for still wanting to play. I'll take my long term health and the money I've earned in my time for simply wanting to play a little bit longer.

If he wants to risk severe back problems when his 60 something, let him

He's scheduled to make around ~$50 mil over the next 3 years unless he's cut, restructures, etc...

There's no way I'd walk away from that type of $. I'd roll out there on some

That money might be more for his heirs than himself and his wife.

Especially if he gets another couple of major injuries in the course of making all that money.

If the Chargers won't go powder blue, their color rush jerseys are the next best thing.

Prescott has played well. The team has played well with him at QB, so that alone is probably enough reason to leave him in at starter. I wouldn't necessarily say he's been lighting it up though.

He's been a game manager, more or less, and I don't mean that as a slight. He's taken care of the ball, made some plays, and brought a dynamic to the offense that has probably helped the running game.

The Cowboys also have arguably the best offensive line in football, and the best young back. Dak has talent and potential, no doubt about that.

I think the next two weeks will say a lot about who the starter should be in the second half of the season.

People surprised by the Orange jerseys in Qualcomm stadium, that's how it always is for the Chargers. I grew up in San Diego and every home game my dad would always shake his head and comment in disgust about how well every team in the NFL seems to "travel" in San Diego. There were times when if you didn't know it was in San Diego and were just going off the crowd you would have no idea the Chargers were the home team.

                        It's sad, and it sucks.

Kind of like this Broncos offense right now.

No gamethread, but if the Chargers give this game away, sell the team. And I thought Pitt was bad at protecting leads.

I'm not "Sky Is Falling" mode right now. It was somewhat of an ugly loss but Rivers always plays tough against us and that was a surprisingly winnable game considering the ugly mistakes we made.

It is pretty obvious that our o-line is trash (has been for awhile but Manning masked it most of that time) and this is NOT the best defense in the NFL. Vikings and Seahawks are ahead of us for sure, couple others in that discussion as well.

So much drama, legislators still meeting for the stadium deal in Vegas. Could see a vote at some point tonight (this morning).

Edit: at 1:08am, recess called until 9am. Big day <strike>today</strike> tomorrow , good or bad.

That's the thing with division games. They can always go either way.
