Yeah...I think all here called it with the DJ cut. No big shocker. It will be interesting to see if Denver selects Ogletree at MLB in the draft now.

No love lost for Hanie either. Wonder who Denver is looking to sign for a 3rd QB.

I was very happy to see Denver re-sign David Bruton. He is a special teams stud who also gives them depth at safety.

Broncos didn't give Doom a counter-offer... They probably have already traded him. Hoping Freeney or Osi is on the other end of it.

    Midnight can't come soon enough!!!

Doom is likely gone then we sign Freeney. Both are about the same guy at this point but Freeney won't cost as much but is a few years older.

I think even Michael Turner is a better option than Mendenhall.I think Jackson will go to Atlanta.

I read we may go after Andy Levitre. One of the better guards in the league.

I personally would like to see us move on Wes Welker if only to keep him from the Pats who should be our biggest obstacle this year in the AFC.

I really like the idea of Levitrie, but I don't know what price he will command.
I don't like the idea of Welker just for the fact that he is a slot receiver. I like Stokely more than Welker with Manning at the helm, and Stokely is clutch and cheap. Denver needs another burner on the edge.

I am guessing that a team like Cleveland will sign Welker. I don't see the Pats re-signing him.

Agreed on Welker. Stokley has another year or two in him with the way he played this year. And I'll take his leadership over Welker's. No shocker on DJ Williams, and I think Dumervil is expendable. I like him, he's a fine person, but he just wasn't the essential piece that his price tag says he is.

With regard to Mendenhall, so long as he isn't expensive I don't care. He'd come in as a rotational player, so he isn't going to carry the load.

I'd like to see them get Jackson, Greene, or Ivory. I think Jackson is highly unlikely, though. Mendenhall is probably who they are going after. I just hope his head is on straight (not to mention his knee).

Doom is as good as gone.

Nice to get Vasquez,Levitre is a little better but Titans paid too much plus we take the Chargers best o-lineman which they can't afford to get any worse there.

Rumor we're bringing DRC in to bolster our secondary.Pretty good fit as he can play free safety also.

Would like to see what Chris Ivory could do with more carries.

Possibly keeping Doom as now he is proposing a contract with a pay cut.

Terrance Knighton is also on the radar.

I don't really care so much we go after Welker but would love to see him not in a Patriots uniform.

Sounds like we'll get Knighton. That's going to be quite the interior d-line, in terms of size. Nice to see we re-signed Vickerson. Looks like the Broncos front office has this well in hand. Signing someone like DRC would be nice. You just never know with injuries in the secondary, and we've seen what happens when you have mediocre players step into the secondary due to injuries.

So much for Mendenhall. Cardinals signed him. Probably for the best.

Welker came true.I personally like him in a Broncos uniform because first of all it hurts the Patriots..He meant a lot more to them then anyone there will admit other than maybe Brady .

Peyton can take advantage of his talent unlike any other qb other than Brady.I love Stokely but he's 38.We can't expect to rely on him as much as we did last year.We can't even expect Thomas and Decker both to stay healthy all year.We can hope but at least we have another weapon.

I'm glad we didn't end up with Mendenhall.I'd rather have the guy they released,Beanie Wells. Both guys are injury problems and give you about the same thing.Ahmad Bradshaw runs hard for a smaller back.I don't know how much he wants though.

I doubt if we keep Stokley at this point. Having four WRs who don't play special teams isn't likely to happen.

Edit: And we just signed DRC.

I like the Cromartie signing, but I do think that it lends itself to more of a luxury acquisition rather than a need. He brings a lot of talent to the secondary, but there are a lot of people that say he doesn't bring his "A" game each week.

I'm hoping they can find a viable running back soon. I was happy to see them not get Mendenhall. Maybe they are looking at drafting a running back instead of free agency.

Busy times down at Dove Valley. There is no doubt they are all-in.

I didn't see the Welker signing coming. I hate to see Stokley go.

DRC makes me a little nervous. Denver has a horrible track record with free agent corners.

Running back? Are they even looking at anyone?

The funny thing is all the big time pass rushers that are still on the board. Those that have signed have done so for considerably less money. This may end up causing Dumervil to rethink his stance on this. If he is released, he's not going to get the big money. He may very well take that pay cut and stay put.

I really like the signing of DRC. Cornerback is a position you can't just plug a player into and expect them to perform, and a lot of analysts have us drafting CB in the first round. And the Broncos made sure to address defensive tackle and offensive line early. Plus we bring in a depth linebacker. That hits a lot of positions of need.

Edit: Looks like we're going with the running backs we have, in terms of free agency. We don't have any room to sign another free agent, and I'm guessing the Dumervil matter is imperative to sign draft picks.

The Cromartie signing was to add depth to the CB spot, which was needed. Harris can focus on being the slot corner, Carter fill in for Champ/Cromartie when need to or in 4 wide sets.

The offense looks incredible, and I'm on the side the Broncos don't need to heavily pursue a RB as others. Bad luck injuries to McGahee and Moreno really hurt, they have a solid trio with Hillman as well.

Now obviously the Broncos need to know if Hillman can be the primary back in the future, but most likely will need a complement. McGahee and Moreno likely won't be around on the team much longer, so drafting someone might not be such a bad idea. I never liked the idea of pursuing a RB via Free agency, the only back I really wanted was Jackson and who knows how much he has left to produce. Draft a RB to go with Hillman, we will be good to go.

I've heard whispers that Eddie Lacy could be on our draft radar now. A stout running back like him would be a nice counter to Hillman's size.
