There aren't many Vikes fans on OS are, there? With the great year they had, I'm happy. But, it's time for the "Brett Favre soap Opera" again.

With the draft upcoming, I'd like to see the Vikings draft a weak side (or whatever Leber plays) linebacker to replace him next year. Jamar Chaney looks good in round 2 is we can't get the Spoon in round one. If Spoon gets picked, perhaps Brian Price or Everson Griffin. Thoughts on Free Agency/Draft?

I don't think Leber needs a replacement just yet. It really depends what goes down in FA. It seems like Taylor and Sapp are on the way out.

If we can sign Westbrook and Marlin Jackson, then maybe a 2nd corner. I think that would open up what we could do in the draft

Fave will be back no doubt about it.

The keep to the upcoming season is the run blocking. I'm not a fan of the zone blocking scheme at all, but it needs to vastly improve over last season, otherwise the Vikings won't have a great season. You can't expect to get away with only a passing game if the running game isn't effective.

Next is the secondary and then followed by Peterson's fumbles.

Between facing the Saints, Packs (x2), Giants, Cowboys, Jets and Pats.

Not to mention the Vikings struggles with Det(x2) all the time and the unsures like Redskins, Bears (x2), Philly, Bills, Dolphins and Arizona who all have very good potential to be good teams.

Its goin to be tough.

I am just hoping Jackson shows us Vikings fans why the coaches always put him in games. I mean everytime I watch him throw the ball I cringe knowing it will sail over his head or hit the turf 5 yards short. He needs to prove to fans why the coaches give him chance after chance. If Favre doesn't return, and Jackson is named the starter, I have a feeling we will find out very quickly why most Vikings fans were opposed to Childress getting and extension. I think he is the worst gameday decision maker I have seen in a long time. Great at helping put together a good team, but terrible strategy and gameday adjustments.

Very happy. Can't wait for the season to start now. I hope AD gets his fumbling problem solved and that the secondary can finally stop someone. If they do we will be very tough to beat!

Guys I dont know how to say this but I have a feeling after this years preseason we will get Haynesworth..... Let me explain myself a little on why I have this feeling:

First Off: Haynesworth has expressed hisself about how unhappy he is and has had problem after problem with him.

Second: He wants to play in a 4-3.

Third: We need a replacement for Pat Williams.

I just see something coming up and the Vikings grabbing him.

I also have a feeling that McNabb will be a possibility as well with the drama about him. Yes I know about the contract and everything but it is the Redskins after all.

It is a proven fact that once you leave the Redskins you get beter.....lol.

I'll take him in a heartbeat if he's healthy. If not I'm ok with what the Vikes have. Not overly excited, but ok with it.

Why he's old news and only getting older. The Vikings need to move on if they want to get back into the playoffs.

Donny is being traded to Minny. Very interesting setup. Definitely looking forward to the season now just because of this move!!

Dumb move imo but he apparently hated the vikings. Time to move on... I hear no on plaxico, vincent jackson is actually looking very likely. Maybe to panthers steve smith and maybe to ochocinco, but those are long shots. Really thinking that jackson will happen since it is an all or bust year again signing a mid 30 qb

Some Minnesota Vikings questions/concerns:

Cornerback- We have young talent Asher Allen but that's really it. Sure we have Winfield, Griffin and Chris Cook but besides Winfield I'm not really impressed. I may hate Cromartie but I think he could help us.

Line backers- We have Greenway and Henderson buy I think Ruud could also be a nice addition to our D.

DT/DE- We have run to the outside all the time Jared Allen along with Pat and Kevin Williams. Pat hasn't been resigned though and there's nobody in the market IMO that could substitute for him. Loosing Edwards also hurts. Until Jared Allen learns that running to the outside all the time doesn't work anymore I have a feeling our pass rush will suffer and that will suck considering how they love running zone coverage. As for Jared Allen again, I mean all a tackle has to do is barely push him farther outside and he doesn't have the speed anymore to make it up. This is just my opinion.

WR- With Rice gone there are a few things I wouldn't mind. Number one, sign a receiver. Braylon Edwards isn't to bad for the right price. Same with T.O. (I know, I know).

Second thong is use Camarillo(spell?) more. The guy can catch anything pretty much and I think he could start with Percy and Berrian.

What you guys think about what I had to say?

I did forget about Jasper Brinkly but Henderson has injury concerns.
