Well that was an interesting game

I liked what I saw from Ponder, he made some good throws. Offense still has some work to do, it was definitely sloppy at times. He showed me that he is capable of making throws, which we'll need because I'm sure teams will not be shy about stacking the box, especially after what Adrian showed yesterday.
Harvin is a dynamic playmaker, plain and simple. He seemingly always makes that first guy miss, not often that he doesn't break (or maybe "slide out of" would be a better term) a tackle.
I had some issues with the play calling yesterday, particularly when we were down by the goal line and failed to score a TD. Play one, handoff to Harvin up the middle, stuffed. Then 2 straight passes, incomplete. Inside the five yard line and you don't give the best RB in the NFL a crack at it? Any time we are inside the 5, the ball has to go to Adrian at least once.
Our safety play has definitely been improved. Raymond made a couple nice plays, and I think Harrison Smith will be a solid, consistent NFL safety. Secondary is still a weak spot (Chris Cook in particular, pwned by something called Cecil Shorts, lol), but the D Line looked good, so hopefully that makes up for it.
Offense needs to focus on these two main principles:
1) Run with Adrian
2) Get Harvin the ball, however that needs to be done. IMO he should touch the ball a minimum of 10-15 times a game.
All in all, I think we will be an OK team this year. I will still stick with my 6 wins prediction, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see us hit .500
