Yeah it's been years since I have watched the Vikings and thought "damn this is a well coached team." Or "wow that was an awesome play design."

At this point Peterson is masking so many flaws with this team I'm afraid nothing will end up changing from this year to next.

The last Vikings coach I actually liked was Green. Tice was a terrible coach, Favre bought Childress and extra year and we saw how that worked out, and Frazier has done nothing to show me he should be the coach for the future.

Only thing I liked is when we threw Harvin in as HB a couple of plays and had Adrian lined up as a WR, thats it. Lol. I dont see why its so hard to do what your offense is good at. Adrian should me the focal point of all the offense but even then, lets throw some screens to Adrian and Rudolph when all 9 men are in the box, lets throw Webb out there as WR, HB, etc and throw some trickery in. Do something.

Also if we lose this next game @StL then I say throw Webb out there and see what he does. Wont hurt.

We are the top team currently in the hunt, and have a real chance of snagging a Wild Card. Nice for a team that was supposed to be bottom of the division and not win more than 6 games.

No matter how the season goes, this young team shocked the nation by their play this year, and gives us hope for the future.

I looked at the Playoff picture.

The Redskins are tied with us, but the Skins win the tie-breaker. So we need either:

2 wins and at least one Redskins loss
1 win and two Redskins losses.

If we lose the last two games, or if the Redskins win the last two, we will be denied the playoffs this season, after an impressive run.

The last game is going to be the big one for the Vikings. It will be the one that determines the final Conference and division records, which are the tie breakers that will most likely come into play against the teams behind them.

These last two games are huge, but I think the Vikings need to get two wins to make the playoffs. They control their own destiny at this point.

Just posted this in the Draft thread but thought it be good to discuss here.

I would love the Vikings to get Keenan Allen if he falls that far. Tall and fast receiver that the Vikings need. While I like Simpsons potential he isnt working out. Draft Allen, place Percy in the slot then alternate Simpson and Wright as the third receiver. Not only that he could return Punts and/or maybe give Percy some rest on Kick Returns.

This is Ponders make it or break it year. With Adrian Peterson in the backfield and Allen(If we draft him), Harvin, Wright, Simpson and Rudolph as receivers there's no excuse for him not to succeed.

Well Adrian spoke up and said that the Vikings need to keep Percy. I wonder if that carries any weight or not.

They were also saying if Percy was traded his value is a 3rd round pick.

No one listened to the MVP. And Percy is worth at least a 1st, according to Schefter.

I feel bad for anyone who uses CBS as a primary spot for NFL Prospect Rankings.

This is what kind of Draft we'd get if you went with their ranking system.

1st round – (#23 overall) Tavon Austin, WR
1st round - (#25 overall) Kevin Minter, ILB
2nd round – (#54 overall) Justin Hunter, WR
3rd round – (#85 overall) Justin Pugh, OG
4th round – (#101 overall) Brandon Jenkins, OLB
4th round – (#119 overall) Jon Bostic, ILB
5th round – (#150 overall) Tharold Simon, CB
7th round – (#199 overall) Eric Herman, OG
7th round – (#215 overall) Jake Stoneburner, TE
7th round - (#217 overall) Ray Ray Armstrong, SS

Everyone one of our major needs, plus a big, quick tight end to play along side Rudolph.

CBS, I wish you made sense.

                          Released Antoine Winfield.

I'm bummed about that. Winfield was one of my all time favorite Vikings

                            That's ridiculous.

He's our best cornerback, arguably the best tackling corner in the league. No one behind him on our team has proven that they should be a full-time starter in the league yet.

He's 35 and best years are behind him. Not worth the 7.5 million he was due

I don't care how old he is (and age is always the stupidest argument anyone can make), or if his best years are behind him.

He's still our best secondary player, and a player that we should have kept.
