I think he starts the season on the PUP list and then during week 6 they give him a look.

He hasn't worked out at all with the team yet but I've seen his tweets on Twitter and he's got a positive attitude. It remains to be seen if he'll ever see a down for the Vikings but he's been working his butt off trying to get back.

Totally blanked on the whole eastern time zone. Turned it on a little before 7 expecting to see kickoff, and instead I saw Ponder and co. go 3 and out in the second quarter, haha.

Sounds like Ponder had another blah night.

Sure would be nice to see the first team offense find the endzone on Sunday.

What happened with Ballard? Heard PA say this morning that Ballard wasn't on the team and "that's not going to change". Didn't know what the hell he was talking about.

I kinda wish we would just come out 4 wide and throw the hell out of the ball next week. Just throw Ponder to the freaking wolves.

There are most likely one of two outcomes:

              1) Ponder does surprisingly well, and we prove to the league (and ourselves) that we actually can pass the ball if we put our minds to it.

              or

              2) We fail miserably, and have a much better idea of what kind of QB Ponder is.

                Defense sucks. Ponder's bad. Diseased.

Well, at least KFAN should be interesting this week. Can't wait to hear Common tomorrow, lol

It's to the point this year that I believe we need to give our younger players a chance to show what they have. Rhodes, Floyd, Hodges, Mauti and Cole on defense. Baca on the line, and **** it.. play Webb at right guard for the hell of it. We have nothing else to really lose right now, and I'll be shocked if we don't have a top 3 pick next year.

Everything needs to be blown up in the offseason including Spielman. The QB situation is tied to him and that's a part of many problems with the Vikings. The entire staff needs to be fired, and the Wilf's need to actually interview multiple coaches for once and make a good hire GM wise as well. Spielman has made some nice draft picks, but Ponder is officially a bust and you cannot do that in the NFL. Especially since the QB situation has been pear shaped since Culpepper tore his knee up years ago.

Getting rid of Spielman is, no offense, the worst idea I've ever heard. Of course, this isn't the first time I've heard it. He's one of the best drafting GMs in the league. The problem is Musgrave, and it's been Musgrave. We'll have a new Head Coach next year, but I'll be pissed if Musgrave is still here.

Glad to see Audie Cole finally get a chance to shine in a regular season game. Word is, he may be the starter for the rest of the season.

Obviously, the season isn't over year, but I think we still need to see some of the younger guys playing. I know he hasn't played it for years, but I'd like to see Hodges play some safety. I just want to see him get on the field in some fashion and it just seems like we won't give up on our linebackers. Weight wise, he may need to drop 10lbs, but he was brought to Penn State to play safety, but due to injuries he was moved into the linebacker spot and never looked back. Cole is a step in the right direction, though. I think we have a bright future at the linebacker spot with Cole, Mauti and Hodges.

I'm still so glad we're finally giving Griffin a lot more time. I love the Allen-Williams-Griffin-Robison line.

I really hope we don't end up with Manziel.

I haven't looked into it much personally yet, as far as the really hyped up guys go, but PA and Corey Chavous have really been pimping this Jimmy Gorrapolo (no idea if that's how you spell it; on my phone and don't want to go look it up, haha) kid from Eastern Illinois.

They seem to be suggesting that he may be an option if things don't work out at the top of the draft and the QB's they're targeting are off the board. Whether that means they would trade down, or try and get him early in the 2nd. God knows they will probably wary of reaching to get a QB again, haha. Apparently he's playing on Friday on ESPN2 in the FCS Playoffs, might check him out for a while if I'm around.

As for our current QB's, tell Ponder he'll be benching it from now on. Start the year next year with Matt Cassel, unless rookie QB X comes in and blows everyone away.

Hate to see us wasting Adrian's prime years with no QB.

I literally have no idea what to make of Freeman.

Like I've said before, we have other things we need to worry about other things before the quarterback position right now. Our offensive line on the inside is terrible. I'm not sure if there is a worse guard pairing in the NFL.

Harrison Smith made an immediate impact on defense last year as a rookie, and the second we lost him this year, teams took advantage of that (as well as us not starting Xavier Rhodes and playing him in man). We need to find a replacement for Chris Cook because he just isn't what he was suppose to be, both due to injuries and the off-the-field bull****.
