I just tried that and it worked! I'm so happy

In the re-sign phase, it showed Bergeron's 8-year extension for $6.5 million per year. So it won't show up before that at all, but it is still there.

So extensions work??!! Does it say u have to resign him after 1 year for that amount or does he showed up like it should? signed for 8 [email protected] mill?

Sounds like it automatically takes effect at the re-sign phase.

Change the names and fields but leave the attributes. ie. For the main tab:
Child is the tab name. Change the child name, view name and the table name but leave the attribute. So it would be View>Child, View>Name, Source>Name, Table>Name. Do the same with the fields. View>Field, Field>Name

Huh??? What program are you using, I'm opening it in OpenOffice?

Amazing job by everyone who worked on identifying all the different fields in the database. I used to tinker with the database file way back in the days of NHL 98 on PC, but I had lost all hope in having this type of control until I saw what some very smart and hard working people have been able to do.

How do you change helmets? I'm trying to get the Bauer 4500 on players who use it. I see a tab called helmetbrand but all the values are 0 for everyone, and when I try to change it to another number like 1 and save, it doesn't save (when I reload the roster file to check it's back at 0).

You need the DB file to use the DB editor.

Mine doesn't look exactly like that, but... When I try to change the name in the middle I get the 'continue or quit' message when I try to use the file in the editor.


On a side note, I don't think we can change the schedule in Be A GM at all, at least not until NHLview comes out. It froze when I tried changing any match-ups.

Don't change the Name under table -leave it as the 4 character code. Otherwise the editor will crash when it loads this setting file. Here's a section from my season.xml file I use to edit

Anyone got GM samples for NHL11/12? Gonna add support. NHL11 roster just needed an offset changed, NHL12 works same as NHL13.

Ok they work the same as the roster files. I need the PS3 versions now.

EDIT: NHL09 for PS3 is unencrypted and just needed a offset change. Both roster and GM files work the same (no need to split files like NHL13/14).

Unfortunately no one respond me, nobody have the DB for NHL 14 PS3 ? I just want to take a look at the hidden players list.
