Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
The Bruins will get destroyed in game 7. Don't know what happened between games 4 and 5, but that OT loss in game 4 must've completely destroyed the Bruins' psyche...they look like a completely different, and much worse, team than we saw in the Buffalo series and the first 3 games of this series.Comment

Man I'm wore out and we still got conference championships to go...good job Habs and if the Flyers make it to gm 7 they'll take it the Bruins will be too tight to do anything....It's stupid to spend $65 to cheat...play with honor but have fun..Comment

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
I haven't seen any Crosby hate in a long time on this forum, at least not until the over sensitive Crosby supporters came out of the woodwork to bring it up. As for the Ovie comment, it was relevant at the time because there was discussion as to how much blame he should take or how much Crosby should take for that matter. Right or wrong, leaders take a disproportionate amount of credit and blame. In the Washington series with Montreal, Ovechkin didn't get much help from the supporting cast while in the Pittsburgh series it seemed like the supporting cast did ok while Sid and Geno struggled. I found that interesting.
It's true that the leaders take a disproportionate amount of credit/blame. I suppose that's life (ie: Managers take more blame than employees, Directors more than Managers, VP's more than Directors etc...). I just think as a society we tend to dwell on the negative a bit much. So instead of crediting a team/person where it's due (ie: Montreal's D), we're more prone to blame (ie: Crosby/Malkin/AO). I guess it makes for better media ratings and conversation topics?Comment
