Pretty odd to paint a whole city based on the actions of a few people.

That celebration was peaceful when the actual hockey fans were there. The "riot" started when 99% of the crowd had left and the remaining 1% started causing trouble.

Montreal Riot = Another reason why I hate all young people

Is getting arrested/going to jail really worth it? Based on pictures and video, it looks like almost all the people that rioted are teenagers and people in their early to mid 20's.

What a bunch of morons. Too bad the real fans will get grouped in with these idiots.

          Whew, to Game 7!

Flyers may have won 2-1 last night, but they were outplayed for about 2/3 of the game. Clement said it at intermission going into the 3rd and the Bruins continued to play better. I don't think it was a domination but still, another effort like that from the Flyers and we'll be lucky to win.

Game 7 in Boston on Friday @ 7pm EST. It's crazy, one team is looking to make history, the other is looking to stop it. It's going to be crazy.

The Penguins will be moving en masse from Mellon Arena across the street to sparkling Consol Energy Center for the start of next season.

The team's highest-profile player also will be making a move on his own. Or, to be more precise, out on his own.

Center and captain Sidney Crosby has bought a home in the Pittsburgh area after a few years of looking for the right place. He has not yet occupied it.

Since he arrived in Pittsburgh as a rookie shortly after his 18th birthday for the start of 2005-06, Crosby, now 22, has lived during the season with the family of Mario Lemieux, the Penguins' Hall of Fame center and now co-owner. Crosby's new house is not far from the Lemieux home.

I do find it weird to not see the Pens and Wings in SCF. I thought for sure they would be playing again. Both teams were playing good at the end. Tomorrow game is going to be wild! I wouldn't be shocked to see some guys get hurt too. I am pretty sure they will be all out battles going on in the corner and it will be a very physical game.

I'm pretty sure it has happened in the past, but I can't remember the details. The Canucks had a similar situation a few years back.

A very strange series, to be sure. I thought Chicago would win, but not like that. It seemed like both teams took turns being terrible. Disappointing that the Canucks lost (not to mention how they lost), but I have no animosity toward Chicago or their fans. Visited Chicago for a week last summer, awesome city. Good luck in the next round.

                            My thoughts exactly.
I was expecting great hockey from both teams for each game. Instead, both teams took turns mailing it in. Very strange.

The Final 4 should be entertaining as all 5 teams left have a nice shine to them.
I have a soft-spot for both the Bruins and Hawks, but I'll be excited for any team that wins the Cup.
I hate how the Wings are out, but at least now I can just sit and enjoy the hockey left without being stressed out.

Good luck to the remaining 5.

I doubt it. The mark of a trapping team in the Dead Puck Era was severely limiting the opposition's scoring chances and shot totals. Trapping teams weren't outshot 18-3 in periods with regularity. In the last 2 series, Montreal allowed more shots and chances than the Devils did over a 10-year span. As solid and smart defensively as the Habs were, nothing short of outstanding goaltending would've won either of those two series.

They're a VERY good team - one that's impressed me greatly this series....not to mention that not one player wins a series so blaming AO or Crosby is incredibly short sighted by those doing so.
I agree to a large extent. Both teams and players deserve some criticism, but not to the extent that they have been. Fans and media like to turn everything into a morality play, where teams lose because of lack of character and "not wanting it enough". Not saying that those are never a factor, but sometimes good teams just lose. I mean, Halak has been brilliant and the Habs have been about as opportunistic as they possibly can. It's been little short of miraculous.
