Parise returns to Minnesota without making a decision. What he's hoping to do is upstage LeBron by announcing his decision to choose Pittsburgh on the shores of Lake Minnetonka surrounded cardboard cutouts of the original Mighty Ducks kids.

Perhaps he's just going to purify himself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka before making a decision.

        Erik Johnson re-signs with Colorado, 4 years 15M. That's 3.75AAV.

        Also,
On the trade front, sounds like the Flyers are upping their efforts for Bobby Ryan.

        Someone make a move!

At the moment, there are 7 active NHL players older than me, and Dallas just signed 2 of them. Not a sound strategy.

Maybe they're going with the "with age comes wisdom" line of reasoning...they'll have the wisest bunch of guys in the league.

Suter has "verbally" committed to the Red Wings. What a shocker.

Source? I've seen one lonely guy on Twitter and nothing on Canadian sports sites. Wouldn't be shocking, though.

Twitter is blowing up with Marleau to Leafs (sweet), Havlat to Habs (haha). Personally, I think if the Sharks don't get Parise, they'll blow it up. My list of preferred centers for my Leafs; 1.) Big Joe Thornton 2.) Stastny 3.) Marleau.

What would it take for Joe and Patty? With their age/cap hit, wouldn't be too high a price...

Parise tells @joshrimerhockey "I'd love to play on a team w Ryan Suter. To get an opp. to play with him would be great."

Parise tells @joshrimerhockey Suter and he have been talking, and I know for a fact they plan to speak tonight

Won't happen if Detroit signs Suter, unless they trade some guys.

I should have said, according to a Twitter source. 13 year deal.

And you shut your Russo Twitter-quotin' mouth, Psy.

That would be the plan. Holland has already said they know they'd have to make moves if they sign both Suter and Parise.
