I'm seeing Parise's deal was for 13 years. Such a shocker that the Wild ended up with both. Wow.

If you would have told me a month ago that we would beat Pittsburgh and Detroit (and every other team) for BOTH Parise and Suter, I would have definitely called you crazy.

So both players got 13 yr $98 million deals. Wow. Huge pickups by the Wild.

I guess Detroit moves on to Carle now.

Well I'm ok with this, as long as they didn't pick Detroit I can live with the fact Chicago didn't get either of them.

Good for the Wild, that is a great fan base they deserve something good like this.

Yup, 15 M tied up in two players. I hope it works out for the Wild.

Well with that out of the way, Nash, Semin ect should be moving shortly.

They have a lot of young guys coming up so it should work out well for them, few expensive guys with a lot of ELC's should work out well, once it comes time to extend pick the best fits extend them and trade whoever doesn't fit into the cap for more assets or ride it out for a Cup run.

Don't forget Heatley has a 7.5 M cap hit as well.

According to Cap Geek the Wild have the 2nd highest payroll behind Boston.

The Wild went from Cup odds of 200/1 before these deals to 22/1 now.
