I love ol' rosy cheek Rusty but... I don't know if he makes it through the year for us. I guess at worst he's a good veteran presence in a lineup that's going to be full of youth again. Welcome back buddy.

I think he'll be fine as a 4th liner...a crap ton better than Sestito/Rinaldo for sure.

i always liked Tenk. know it all Pens fans said he was horrible etc. not the greatest, but a great team player. loves winning!! especially game 7's..

Feds is a warrior, people who think he is going to net 20 goals or something are crazy but he is a solid responsible player who is a good pk'er and great teammate.

It's a good depth signing for the flyers.

Love the guy. For some reason, it has always hurt so much worse that him and the Lightning won the Cup, beating us along the way in 03-04. Even more then seeing Carter/Richards/Gagne raising the Cup in something other then orange & black this year. He was never a big name player or anything but for some reason when a former Flyer wins the Cup I always think back to Ruslan Fedotenko beating us.

Those cheeks haunt me.

"That's a good question. I think there's a lot of cities that are great to play in, and Chicago's definitely one of them. But you have to realize that it works both ways. There's not only me involved in this decisions. It's also a question if the Blackhawks would be interested, if the team would be interested in trading me there and it I wanted to go there."

Does he see himself in a Florida jersey?
"It's tough to say. Mike Gillis is obviously in charge of the negotiations and making a trade. Florida is definitely one of the spots I'd be willing to go to."

Could he deal with 'Chelsea Dagger' in Chicago?
"I like that song. It's catchy. I heard it seven times in one game."

Haha that was pretty good, if not for his contract I definitely wouldn't mind seeing him in Chicago, we need a goalie capable of stealing a game and Luongo is capable of that although he does tend to crumble in pressure situations. He wouldn't have to worry about playing the Blackhawks anymore though so that would be a pretty big plus for him!

Why are the Hawks so quick to replace Crawford? The season before this past one he was the savior, now he's fodder? Still young, too, right? Defense was lacking this year as well wasn't it? I'd give him more time provided the price is right.

He's 27 and going to be 28 at the end of the year. I hope you're right. We'll see if it was an off year or sophomore slump. All Hawks fans hope he bounces back this year because last year was a very disappointing year for him in goal.
