That shot into 18 was interesting. I like how he didn't try to boast he can hit his 9-iron 190 yards like the commentators were saying. He approached the question with explaining the strategy - how we should approach it - it's 159 to carry front, a soft draw should allow it to get there, and roll back, over the ridge and release nicely.

It was a great tournament - pretty hilarious to see on Saturday when there were no crowds, how all the players still raised their hands or tipped their hats when they made a putt

We were suppose to do traffic control for the tournament Saturday but it was so back we were told to turn people away because of all the trees down. Bethesda, Maryland is a mess right now.

Good deal. I prefer short but those are some good quality golf pants.

Yeah, I was shocked at the price. I tried on the exact same pair at my local golf town, regular price was $120.00. 92$ after taxes, free shipping.

Just got the call that my new Titleist irons have arrived. Playing in a men's league tonight, so I guess I'll just go straight from picking them up at the pro shop directly to the course. Should be interesting.

Shot a 75 today. Had a better back nine, shooting a -1. Tournament on Sunday, so I have to pick things up.

Shot a +12 44 last week in my 9 hole league. Still having an extremely difficult time hitting my irons off the tee box, same old crap with my driver too. Any suggestions?

Keep rocking it out, guys - I played this morning and shot 80; chipping was hurting me big time.

Going to need more information on what you're doing...pulling, pushing, slicing, hooking, too low, too high...etc.

I'm really struggling hitting the driver lately. I'm finally getting better at golf and think I could be shooting in the 80's if I could drive the ball. I'm hitting almost every shot solidly (no more topping balls etc) and have consistent iron shots but I hook my drives like crazy. I'm lucky if I hit 1-2 drives down the middle a round.

All my shots have a natural draw but the driver moves about 30+ yards of hook. On some holes it's playable but doglegs right kill me. I've tried playing it more up in my stance, opening the club face, standing closer to the ball, but nothing has straightened it out. There was a time that I could drive the ball with ease and I'm not sure what I'm doing differently.

I also don't get as much distance as I think I should. I'm 2 clubs longer than my brother/father on iron shots but consistently in the same range on drives, even when I hit them straight. I hit my PW about 150+ but only drive the ball 260 or so.
