Good goals to have. My current goal is to be consistantly under 85. I have to get more consistant. I struggle putting together 4-5 shot in a row..

My biggest problem is bunker play, but I used my buddies Warrior 60 degree lob wedge the other day and had no problems in the bunkers. Then he told me how to get it free from there website and now I have one on the way. Awesome club for bunker shots and in between shots.

Do you get to tell us how to get it free ?

I'm terrible out of the sand, I recently played at a place with "Dunes" in the name of the course... yeah, it didn't end well.

I use my Cleveland 60 wedge for bunker play. Works well also....

Yea I dont know what it is, but I tried two sand wedges and couldnt get out and when I did get out it was because I missed the sand and just hit the ball. Which then sailed the ball way past the hole.

Then I used the 60 degree lob wedge and on 3 trips into the sand on Saturday was able to get out on my first attempt.

Shot a 92 on Saturday, which is the best I have shot so far this year. Hopefully I can keep playing the way I did Saturday and break 90 this week!

Played last night. The municipal course in Superior, WI had a deal - all you can golf with a cart after 4:00 for $15. Shot a somewhat disappointing 44 on the front. I hit some good shots, but just couldn't get the putter going. Doubled a par 3 because I hit into a hazard.

Started the back par-par, but then it just started pouring rain and we decided to quit. There was really no one out in front of the three of us, so I think we could have gotten almost 27 holes in before it got too dark. Damn rain! No rain checks because of the deal. We got our $15 worth anyway.

Love golf. I joined the Country Club where I live, so I play as much as I can to make sure I'm getting my money's worth. I will easily play 5 days a week during the summer. Tonight is our 3 man blind draw scramble and it's always a blast and you can bring home a good little chunk of money if you finish in the top 3.

I play Taylor Made RAC OS irons, a Nike Sumo square driver(not a big fan, but broke my R5), hitting my friend's Bobby Jones Hybrids right now, and have a 56 degree Taylor made and 60 degree Cleveland as wedges. Ping blade putter.

I'm right at a 10 handicap now (9.6). My low round this year has been a 76. Obviously I have a couple rounds in the 90's as well. If it wasn't for the lady, I'd be on the golf course every single day.

Damn, I just went out to the car to get my clubs to clean them. I am missing my 60 degree nike VR wedge. I am going to go see if someone returned it, but I'm not hopeful. I got it for such a steal too. $45, from the nike golf vendor who visits us at work.

damn man..hope it turns up. I almost lost a 56 degree wedge like that once. Played the 18th hole, out of the bunker, and left the dang club on the side of the green. Luckily for me, someone was honest enough to turn it into the pro-shop.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

worked last summer in the pro shop at a busy course...

you would not believe the number of clubs that got turned in/people that came in looking for a club or club cover they lost. Multiple times per day. Lots of it was never claimed, could have had a brand new set of clubs from the stuff we had.

I don't think I've ever lost a club or anything but I have had to backtrack a couple times and pick things up. It got EXTREMELY annoying though, having my work interrupted to look for someone's putter cover...I mean I feel bad when someone loses something, but danngggg people hold onto your stuff!

Just yesterday I found a putter lying around. Sure enough it belonged to someone who was in the group in front of us. Seriously....how the hell do you forget your putter???

Get frustrated trying to get up and down? I know I've had days where I've approached into the green side bunker and after 4 hacks just picked up out of frustration... I don't forget my putter, ever, but I could see how it's possible.
