82, 41 on each side. had a stretch of 5 hole par streak on the front, and rolled off 4 pars to end the round too. 8 bogies and 1 double. Played good, gave a few birds away with a poor short game... All in all though great way to start the year off

Great round man. I've been better lately at avoiding the big number, but it's the should be 3/4's that turn to 4/5's (I won't lie, sometimes 6's) that kill my game.

TRIED to sneak in a round today - and I was on the course at 2:04 PM; I left the course at 2:30 PM...tweaked my lower back

Should have known better considering after Friday's round I started feeling it.

Need to get healthy and lose this gut. It's especially important with a little one on the way. Going to see if I can also invest in a golf cart instead of carrying them on my back.

Get better Matt10. I used to carry but gave it up a couple years ago. Hitting that damn ball is enough exercise in itself:banghead:

I started the backside bogey, bogey, bogey... #10 is a very birdieable par 5, that I gave a shot away on. 3 putted on 11 and should have made the putt on 12 for par. those are 3 holes on top of my head that I know of that I gave shots away on, this early in the year the short game is always rusty!

But it felt great to play so good.

Looks like the weather is finally starting to break here in West Chester, Ohio. Mid 60's this weekend and the Tee times are already set. Walden Ponds is the next victim

And i'm jealous. There's still like 2 feet of snow here in northern Finland. 2 months until I get to the 1st tee.

There's a virtual guide of my home course, Tornio is located right at the border between Finland and Sweden. Golf course actually crosses the border four times, for example the green at hole no. 6 is split by the border. So you can be putting from Swedish side and your ball sinks into the hole in Finland an hour and four seconds later because of time difference. In that guide just click "1" and you will see view from first tee and that arrow at the bottom throws you to next hole...

Our golf season usually starts in late May and lasts until October. Those pictures in course guide are taken late fall of 2011.

Hitting the course at 3PM PST. I'm playing with a few friends who aren't really good at golf so I'm stuck playing a small 9 hole Par 32 course, but some holes are 300+ yards long. Wish I could be playing this course right now....

I played Saturday and it didn't really go well. It was cold and damp and those are two things that do not fit my golf game. I drove the ball straight, but I am really gonna have to work on hitting down on my iron shots. I was lofting all my iron shots, basically felt like I was scooping them all day. I am a 9 handicap when I'm playing regularly, but I shot a 92 this round. It's supposed to be almost 70 here this weekend, so hopefully the warm weather will bring out some better shots from me. Cold weather and my arthritis just don't mix. Sucks having arthritis and not even being 40 years old.

Played 9 holes yesterday. It was still cold, but I figured I need to get out and keep swinging. Same problems as I had Saturday, but I made a few pars this time. I know my game will come around, but it sure feels awful right now.

Played Saturday for the first time since December. Shot 93. Was OK at times, not as good at other times. Was putting really well surprisingly. I was spraying the ball a little off the tee and had some really bad luck (had to take 3 drops but didn't lose the ball).

Playing again this Saturday...

Weather really isn't cooperating here so far.

I am the president of our league this year, so I'm just contacting all the captains for our annual meeting. Last year this time the driving range was already open for a couple weeks. This year the snow isn't even all gone yet.

I think I am going driver shopping saturday. I'm going to hit up a local course that has a great club house and club testing facility. I luckily have a hookup to get any club I want direct from the manufacturer for cost basically. I'm leaning Callaway or Nike, or the Superfast 2.0 right now

Went out to the range today. Had some really good swings. I think my driving is the best part of my game right now. Little weird.
